Yasuke, Chapter 11 : Battle Knowledge

"Purple Thunder, Mobile Gunner Smash!"

Domitia chi formed a construct that was the shape of a cloud. It completely covered the area with a fifty foot reach. His chi also formed around his feet all the way up to his hip and around his hands all the way up to his shoulders.

"I see why his final technique took so long to charge up." Amadia thought. "This energy is tremendous."

"Before I begin" Domitia stated. "I just want to thank you for granting me the time it takes to prepare this technique. As a form a gratitude, I promise I will not harm you anymore than I need to."

"You don't need to thank me." Amadia replied. "But, I appreciate your modesty. As my form of gratitude, I'll make it look as if I ran away rather than me just beating you. I know your superiors will scold you for failing."

"I hope you're ready..." Domitia declared. "Because here I come!"

Domitia rushed forwards and was almost instantly in striking range of Amadia.

"He's taking this serious..!" Amadia thought as she was easily able to notice the change in speed.

The cloud over Domitia travelled with him, at a slightly slower pace. As he charged up a big punch, Amadia was using her chi to manipulate the ground beneath her. The solid rock under them formed a few walls that acted as barriers to slow Domitia's momentum down. This was to no avail as Domitia just charged through all of them.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Domitia was called the Purple Thunder of the Kingdom of Spartania due to this empowered state he was currently in. In this state, his physical attributes were heightened to the point where the force from his body colliding into things created a certain sound that resembled the sound of Thunder. Once he collided with the barriers Amadia made, she experienced this firsthand. After busting through the barriers, Domitia rushed towards her with a punch. Amadia ducked as the ground under her formed two giant hands that grabbed Dom.

*BOOM*

Domitia powered out of the grip of the stone hands, leaving them crumbled as Amadia leaped backwards. From the cloud made of his chi, rained down concentrations of his chi that resembled lightning.

*ZINKSKSK* ZINKSKSKS* *ZINKSKSKSSK*

Amadia formed and equipped armor made from the ground. But, as soon as they connected with it, the three lightning bolts shattered the armor and created a sharp zap feel to Amadia's skin. Domitia followed up with a quick knee strike with enough force to knock Amadia off balance. As she stumbled to recover, he grabbed her and pulled her into his next strike.

*BOOM*

The force sent her flying back once again. Before she could notice, another lighting bolt came down and slammed into her body.

*ZINKSKSKSKS*

"Now, you'll notice the true nature of my attack." Domitia stated as he quickly approached Amadia from the side. "My Mobile Gunner Smash is a momentum fueled barrage. The ultimate combination of powerful and fast strikes from me and ranged attacks from above."

Domitia connected with another strike that sent Amadia directly into a lightning bolt.

"The cloud made from my chi you see above represents the range of Mobile Gunner Smash. I can almost instantly reach anything or anyplace that it hovers over as long as I am within the range of it myself." Domitia said as he followed Amadia once again.

Amadia was launched into the air by a kick from Domitia as a lightning bolt crashed into her back.

"The cloud moves as a I move. I'm always the center of it, so there's no escaping." Domitia continued as he stood in place. "Like I stated previously, I won't hurt you more than I need to. So, I'm giving you the option to retreat. You'd be wise to stop now."

"You just fucked up, Domitia." Amadia stated as she painfully rose to her feet.

She was bloodied and beaten, but she seemed to have new found determination to win.

"Remember when I told you using the same technique is pointless when you're opponent has shown to develop a counter for it." Amadia explained. "While taking the brunt of your attacks, I was collecting various types of data that helped me develop this. Now that it's over, I must thank you. Allow me to show you what I've discovered."

"We Spartans are too mentally equipped for psychological warfare. Suck tricks don't affect me at the slightest." Domitia replied.

"Try your hardest." Amadia stated with a smirk as she completely let her guard down.

"Purple Thunder, Mobile Gunner Smash!" Domitia yelled as he rushed towards her.

"Terra Grid." Amadia replied.

*SWOOSH*

Before Domitia could notice, he was rushing face first into the ground.

*BOOM*

His body created a mass hole upon impact. He quickly jumped to his feet, although being mildly confused. Once he located where Amadia was, he rushed forwards once again. This time, he found himself somehow leaping up towards the sky. Once he noticed, one of Amadia's hands made of rock slapped him back down to the ground. He quickly caught himself before hitting the ground and responded by summoning a few lightning bolts to send Amadia's way.

*ZINKSKSKS* *ZINKSKSKS* *ZINKSKSKSSK*

His body began ringing with a sharp pain as he became the target of the three lightning bolts. After the last shocked him, he took a second to try to figure out what Amadia did.

"How?" Domitia thought. "How can she redirect my attacks before I even commit to them? It's as if she knows exactly what I'm going to do each time."

In this moment, a few quotes Domitia was told once he first started training popped into his head.

"If there's one thing I want you young Spartans to implant in your brain about warfare, it's this...." Hercules stated. "True victory is achieved by being able to control yourself as well as control your opponents. If you are never able to manipulate your opponents actions, you will lose to someone who is experienced enough to do so.

"If you have to defend, make their actions based on the idea that you are about to attack." Perseus added. "If you are in a good position, their actions should be determined by the idea that you are in a bad position. Make sure to always have your opponent guessing, do not allow them to know."

"That's her secret?" Domitia thought. "Is a concept so simple allowing her to have this major edge over me in combat? I cannot believe I found trouble dealing with this. I should've known all along. But, now I understand. The next time I strike, it will be to end all of this."
