Yasuke, Chapter 25 : A New Beginning

"I hope this experience teaches you something." King Leondias uttered as he walked past King Nobunaga.

"King Leondias, wait!" Nobunaga uttered as he scrambled to his feet. "I didn't plan to inflict such a heavy gash on you."

"You didn't plan on it because you didn't believe I would give you the opportunity. But, once it occured to you that you could, you wanted to." King Leondias replied. "There's no point in sugarcoating anything. You already said you wanted to make sure I could protect myself and Yasuke. And to really test if I could protect him, you had to attack with killer intent."

"King Leondias is so naive that it's almost endearing." Nobunaga thought as he watched him walk away. "It's okay if he takes Yasuke, I have another plan."

King Nobunaga followed King Leondias into the Kingdom of Namunda, but as soon as he entered, he went on his own way. After witnessing their duel, King Musa and Spartans left to their own duties. The Spartans left to return to Spartania and awaited their King's Return. King Musa returned to his throne and waiting for a special message.

"I seen your duel with King Leonidas." King Musa stated. "That Judgement Spear is quite the technique."

"It's a shame King Leondias knows it. After seeing what I wanted to do to him, he thinks it's all for Yasuke's sake." King Nobunaga replied.

"Well, it is." Musa announced. "After King Agasga is done with Yasuke, I'm sure he'll go right back to Spartania."

"That's why I inquired for your help. We have almost identical mindsets with similar goals, why fight when we can unite?"

"So, you're fully committed to this idea? Because you know that once we start, we cannot stop. It's going to be a full-on war. The repercussions of losing this war will be heavy for both of our kingdoms. So, we'd have to do everything we can to ensure victory."

"I'm fully aware and ready. However, I have to ensure that you are on the same page. Neither of us can do this alone."

"I have but one question, King Nobunaga. What do you expect King Leonidas to do in this situation?"

"I'm glad you asked, because I have the perfect idea."

*MEANWHILE*

Yasuke looked back at the Kingdom of Namunda, which was far away in the distance at this point.

"They didn't hurt you in there, did they?" King Leondias asked.

"No, I just missed Eradius." Yasuke replied.

"That's alright. I'm sure King Agasga will allow him to visit you."

"Agas...ga?"

"That's right, kid. I could tell you so much, but you'll meet him soon. And you'll have all the time you need to learn everything you should from him."

"When?"

"I'm not sure when exactly, but he should summon us at any moment. We're actually almost at Spartania, which is far away from any danger. He may summon us when we get there, but I think it will be before."

Yasuke stopped walking. Leondias did the same thing as soon as he noticed.

"Is that King Agasga?" he heard Yasuke ask.

King Leondias turned around to see King Agasga looking back at him. He was hovering in the air a few meters behind them.

"Yes, this is King Agasga." Leondias confirmed to Yasuke.

"I've spoke to him before."

"Yes, I gave you a few brief words one of the nights you spent trapped within the Kingdom of Namunda." King Agasga recalled.

"I know I have to go with you...but can I see Eradius and Leondias from time to time?" Yasuke asked.

"Of course." King Agasga replied. "I'll have them summoned personally any time you request it, Yasuke. But, it will only be after you do the things you are supposed to. You'll have a few responsibilities while you're with me."

"I'm sure Yasuke will be able to handle whatever you have planned for him." Leondias declared.

"He's incredibly enlightened for his age, but there is still much to learn." King Agasga explained. "The obtaining of knowledge begins now, young Yasuke. Let us begin."

Yasuke looked up at King Leondias before he made his move. King Leondias responded with a look of reassurance that gave Yasuke all the proof he needed to comply. Step by step, he left the comfort of being by King Leonidas' side and joined King Agasga.

"Anytime he makes the request for you and Eradius to be summoned, you'll be notified beforehand." King Agasga explained. "I also plan on keeping the both of you updated on his growth and progress."

"Thank you, King Agasga." Leondias stated as he kneeled.

King Agasga soon vanished, taking Yasuke along with him.

"Now that I know Yasuke will always be safe, I can rest easy." King Leondias thought as he stood back up. "I should focus on continuing my own training in the meantime. I'll have a few years to get everyone to standard."

"King Leondias!" Domitia yelled from a distance.

Soon, King Leondias felt the warm embrace of one of his Spartans as he hugged him from behind.

"I saw your duel with King Nobunaga! You made it look so easy!" he continued. "You should've showed him why you're considered the best warrior out of all the Kings. Who in their right mind would challenge you?"

"Good to see you too, Domitia." Leondias stated as he hugged him back. "But, why are you out here right now?"

"Well, I was training with Logias. But after he sensed you coming, he tried to use his Lacuna Breach to summon you two. He said it felt as if there was a layer of chi that just intercepted his own." Domitia answered.

"That must've been King Agasga's chi." Leondias uttered. "As you can tell, he just came and got Yasuke."

"The kid with the power of the Black Dahlia, huh?" Domitia replied. "I heard after he's done with King Agasga, he'll start training here with us Spartans! Can I be his training partner?"

"There's no way King Leonidas would allow you to train with The Black Dahlia." Logias stated as he joined Leondias and Domitia. "You can't even control your chi. You'll focus so hard on getting him to show you his full power that you'll unleash yours."

"You're talking about control? You're the same guy that can use his strongest ability only one third of the time!" Domitia teased.

"An ability I created very recently." Logias replied. "Nothing is going to be mastered overnight. It takes time and you're the best example of that. You've been training long before I have and you're still behind me."

"Behind you? You view me as your rival, I view Spartan Captains Perseus and Hercules as mine. That's enough for anyone to denote our differences in power." Domitia quashed.

"That's enough. Control is one thing that both of you have to work on." Leonidas admitted. "But, even if you were to learn to fully control your chi by the time we get Yasuke. He won't be training with anyone except me for the majority of his time here. Also, Domitia you shouldn't look past Logias. He is very capable and an formidable opponent for anyone."

"King Leondias does know how to get us motivated." Domitia thought. "But, I just have bigger plans than Logias. That's why he can never truly be my rival."

"Domitia is an idiot." Logias thought. "But, he is a solid competitor. No matter what he or I say, we both are each other's motivation to keep improving. He's essential to my growth. That is, until I defeat him once and for all!"
