C6: Forest Of The Unknown Red-Eyed Rabbits

Jordan could see the pathway after the dungeon door swung open. The door looked normal aside from the fact that it was at least ten times bigger than normal but the inside was completely different.

The inside looked like a forest with huge trees. The whole forest looked deadly and dangerous because no matter where one would look, one would only see trees.

Jordan, along with Hugo, stepped inside the forest. The dungeon doors disappeared into thin air and now, they were standing in the middle of the forest.

Jordan and Hugo started to walk in a random direction while trying to sense anything or anyone. Jordan's perception was only 12, but it helped him alot yesterday. Sensing the opponent's attack and also locating where the opponent was very useful.

Hugo specialized in perception, so he was smelling the air, waiting to find some of the Rabbits.

They continued to walk for 15 minutes until Hugo's head perked upwards. Hugo smelled the air again for confirmation before starting to growl towards a part of a section in the forest.

Jordan also looked in that direction and narrowed his eyes.

'Someone is hiding in the trees.'

A shuffling sound came from the forest and a group of 5 red-eyed rabbits hopped out of the low branches of the trees. Just like the name, they all had red eyes with white fur.

It only showed the basic attributes, but it was enough to tell that the Red-Eyed Rabbits were weak on the attack but strong on Defence and Dexterity. The attack of the level 3 red-eyed rabbit was only 1/4th of Jordan's total attack power, which was 20 points. The level three red-eye rabbit was also the strongest in the pack of rabbits.

The red eyes of one of the Rabbits started to grow a dark red. Jordan's eyes widened in shock before he quickly jumped away from his original position. The next second, a red beam was fired toward the place Jordan was standing before.

The red beam was strong, burning the grass below and even showing a part of the ground.

Hugo growled in anger and suddenly disappeared from the view of some of the rabbits. The level three red-eyed rabbit was much more intelligent compared to the others and could even see a little outline of the wolf emperor rushing towards their direction, so the level 3 red-eyed rabbit jumped back as quickly as it could before the strike Hugo made contact with its skin.

Animals/Beast could sense the other Animal/Beast level from either their smells or their aura. So, naturally, all the rabbits could sense the strong aura radiating off of The Frozen Ice Wolf Emperor. Again, the wolf was an emperor. So it was also natural for its aura to be strong, even if it was in a weak state.

The single slash was enough to tear down the four level 2 red-eyed rabbits. The level 3 red-eyed rabbit was really lucky to escape. If it didn't have the skill, Eye Of The Dragon, the rabbit would have been killed before it could even move.

The [Eye Of The Dragon] allowed the red-eyed rabbit to see 2 times better than normal. It was a good skill for those who were battling a fast opponent but the rabbit was only able to catch a glimpse of Hugo rushing toward them, this proved how fast Hugo was.

A look of terror appeared in its eyes and the red-eyed rabbit began to run in a different direction. Hugo was about to run toward the rabbit but was stopped by Jordan.

"Wait, Hugo. We'll follow the rabbit quietly toward wherever it lives and when it calls for help, we'll get more rabbits to kill from." Jordan had gotten busy, staring at the notification in front of him.

50 System Points weren't hard to get but were worth a lot. They could be used to level the skills of Moon sword, the Skills of Hugo, and the body lvl of Hugo, and also used to buy things in the shop. They were all very essential when wanting to get strong.

Hugo understood what Jordan was talking about, and both of them quickly began to run at a fast yet silent speed toward the direction the level 3 red-eyed rabbit went.

The both of them caught up in no time at all, and the rabbit didn't even notice them, even though they were just a few meters behind the rabbit. Their footstep was so silent, that even Jordan couldn't hear Hugo's footsteps.

Jordan was curious about the skill of the level 2 red-eyed rabbit. The skill was able to burn part of the ground. He was pretty sure that if the beam had hit him, either one of his arms or his legs would be hurt badly. But the level three red-eyed rabbit was the most interesting in Jordan's opinion.

He was pretty sure he saw '10 Dexterity' on its stat and Hugo had the same speed around Jordan. Hugo was at most two times faster than the level three red-eyed rabbit, yet, the rabbit was able to dodge.

The only conclusion he could come up with was that the rabbit had a skill relating to speed. After witnessing the level three rabbit, he was pretty excited to see the boss of the forest.

The level 3 red-eyed rabbit they were following turned in another direction and it wasn't long before they arrived at their destination.

Jordan expected to see a burrow, a natural place where rabbits used to live but saw a cave instead. The whole cave was dark that even with his excellent perception, he wasn't able to see far off.

All of a sudden, a group of rabbits came out of the cave as well. After looking at them, Jordan noticed there was only 10 level-four red-eyed rabbit. While there were nearly dozens of level three and two red-eyed rabbits.

And behind them, was a huge rabbit, 3/4th the size of Jordan.
