Chapter 8

THE CLIFF

KELLY.

After Jim left, I had taken a nap, though at first I was scared that immediately I would close my eyes,

The weird things where going to start again but Lucky for me, I had taken my first long Nap without anything out of the ordinary happening,

When I woke up, it was already almost midnight and I was alone in my ward,

This only meant Jim didn't come like he said he would and I wondered why

I got out of bed feeling a lot better and relaxed, I was hungry so I decided to eat the food that jim had brought in the afternoon,

Not minding that the food was cold, I dag into it until I felt full and put the plates aside,

I would have loved to take a walk but since it was already midnight, I knew it was a bad idea and hence went back to bed,

The room was deadly quite, I couldn't even hear any noise from outside, maybe everyone was sleeping and the Doctors and nurses might have already done their rounds,

"I need to pee" I said to myself as I stood up again heading to the bathroom which was a few steps from my bed,

Immediately I entered the bathroom and closed the door behind me, I was in a total different place,

I was on top of a clif, out of panic, I reached for the door to open it but the door disappeared immediately I thought of doing that,

I was now standing at the tip of a clip, if I made any movement, I was going to fall into the pit below that was seemed long

"Hello, help me!" I screamed but it felt as if I was in a big empty room as the echo of my voice was heard

For a few seconds I was stuck on what to do, there was nothing around me but the cliff I was on, no door behind me or somewhere I could go to,

I sat on the ground and tried to look down the hill to know if I could see anything but it was deadly dark down there,

I looked at the sky which had dark clowds all over without any stars,

I knew immediately I was no longer in my world, this was a different place all together,

Suddenly, I felt two cold hands push me and before I knew it, I was being pushed from the cliff and falling

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" I screamed before I landed in water, cold water and it now looked like I was in a ocean as everywhere I was surrounded by water, the cliff had disappeared

I tried to kept my body afloat so I wouldn't drain but one way or another, if I didn't get out of the water, I would surely drown but where exactly would I swim to,

I was yet to find a solution when something started pulling me into the water,

I was now scared to death as I tried fighting whatever was dragging me down,

It was hopeless trying to do that as I found myself dragged down the ocean, I tried hard to kept myself alive but I could not breath and soon I closed my eyes as I thought this was the end of me,

When I noticed I was not running out of breath, I opened my eyes only to realize I was now in a room and in front of me stood Tim looking at me

I had never thought I would ever see Tim again and if anything, I was scared so scared that I had no idea what to do

"Tim" I whispered, Tim gave me a sly smile, his eyes where completely black, it was like I was looking at a different person in Tim's form

"Kelly, we meet again" his voice was soo deadly and cold that it sent shivers all over my body,

Suddenly, I noticed the sharp knife he had in his hands

He took steady steps towards me, I looked around the room but there was no door I would exit from,

I became more scared than I ever was as Tim was now standing in front of me with the knife pointed towards me

"Tim,,, what are you doing?" He literally looked like someone who was possessed which scared me more.

"Tim, please don't kill me" I cried when I saw the way he was holding the knife and the sinister smile he had on his face, in the next second, he pushed me against the war the knife on my neck ready to cut my throat off,

At that moment, I  stoped breathing,

Was this really Tim, no matter what happened in the past, Tim was never a person that would be capable of killing anyone especially me

"You know am soo glad that finally I have the chance to do this to you" he said, I shallowed hard as I felt my throat get dry

"Tim, this isn't you, my Tim would never do something like this to me" I said in a low voice not believing what was happening

"Your Tim, did you say your Tim, you should have thought about this when you did what you did to me" and with that, he cut my throat.

For some reason, I did not feel any pain as my head landed on the floor,

Tim let go of my body as it fell on the floor and lifted my head,

All this looked like a scene from a horror movie, how could i see everything that was happening even when my head was cut off from my body?,

 I was about to say something when Tim suddenly stabbed both my eyes with the knife.

There was no pain and the room grow quite, For a few seconds, I felt that I was really dead but then Somehow when I opened my eyes, I was surprised to find myself in my ward surrounded by Doctors and Nurses

"What, what happened?" I asked in a whisper

"Mrs Williams" the Doctor said looking at me surprised, all the other Doctors looked at each other and then at me  surprise written all over their faces 

"What happened?" I asked again in case they didn't hear me,

Doctor Adams cleared his throat

"Pordon us Mrs Williams, it's just that its not everyday we see a dead person back to life" what the hell did he mean by that? I wondered, dead, did he mean that I had really died?

"What do you mean?" I asked just to confirm if what I was thinking was true....
