Three

"James, I want to tell you something," Katsuro was sitting on the floor. "A few moments ago I have been feeling activity from the underworld around here, the spirits are coming more and more and not only that, I feel that behind them there is a spirit manipulating them, this must be even stronger than their subjects. In addition, that girl you like, Astrid, when we saw her I felt something different about her that I didn't pay attention to her, but for some reason I think she is in danger as well.

"What are you saying?" I got out of bed quickly.

"That's right, the spirits have not only come for your soul, I think they are thirsty for other souls and inside them I think there is that of that girl."

"Let's get out of here immediately!" I took my shirt and left my room.

While we ran at high speed in search of Astrid, I just thought nothing had happened to him, I didn't want to be late.

There was a room, apparently it was like meditation, in it was Astrid's body, bloody and with blows anywhere, the walls were torn, it seemed that they would collapse.

I looked around me and there was nothing, but in the blink of an eye a huge hand pierced the wall destroying it.

"Get aside," Katsuro intervened with his katanas, putting them in the form of an X, thus stopping the blow. "This is not a spirit like the others, James."

I could only see Astrid's body, lying down. I tried to go for him, but the spirit had cast a kind of spell that prevented me from passing through.

"I am the star of despair and you will pay dearly for meddling," his voice was macabre.

Unlike the other spirits, he could speak, his appearance was like an angel, but a gloomy angel, his face was a skull with pointed fangs, his hands were long but he had about eight claws on each, on his extremities he had a kind of armor that covered everything. From him emanated a kind of black aura becoming more and more intense with his movements.

"Damn it!" I was enraged, and my transformation came like this, "for you are the one who will pay dearly, damn," I turned to him with my sword raised.

"Wait, don't do it!" Kusto stretched out his hand trying to stop me but it was too late.

"Take this!" I tried to pierce it with my sword, but it instantly faded appearing next to me. I felt two of his claws pierced my side.

I felt motionless, I just felt the deep pain it was causing me.

"Final attack!" Kuatsuro squatted, fading in the same way that the spirit did, later impacting his arm with his two katanas. That's how I was able to free myself from the spell. "I told you not to attack suddenly, one of the things you should always keep in mind is not to underestimate the enemy, the first thing you have to do is analyze his movements or you will end up dead.

"Don't worry, that won't happen again," I touched my side and was bleeding. "Damn it, I feel like I'm running out faster and faster."

"It's because of my special attack, when I inserted my two claws into your side I also introduced my deadly poison, the tea will become weaker and weaker until you are an easy prey," he positioned himself near Astrid's body, trying to devour it.

"James, look at me," Katsuro ordered. "You have to concentrate, don't let hatred hinder you."

I concentrated my energy even more, entered a state of meditation, clarifying my thoughts and expelling the bad energy that was taking hold of my body. I pounced on the spirit, once again it faded, but this time I closed my eyes by staying static. I saw clearly when a portal opened above my head.

"I've cursed you," I cut off his arm with my sword, causing him great pain.

"That's how it is done," Katsuro encouraged me.

I immediately saw Astrid's eyes open little by little.

"What happened to me?" she touched her head, she was a little crazy, "but... what are you doing dressed like that, James?" And who is that horrible monster? "In addition, I don't know you," he pointed out to Katsuro. "this must be a nightmare.

"Calm down, Astrid, then I'll tell you, but first I have to put an end to this damn who tried to kill you."

Wait a minute, how could Astrid see the spirit and Katsuro? If only I am supposed to see paranormal things.

"Do you think that with that movement you just made you will defeat me?" The arm of the spirit regenerated immediately.

Damn, this will be more difficult than I thought.

The spirit began to undergo a transformation, the black aura continued to increase more and more, leaving two more arms coming from its sides. These are even longer than the previous ones.

"Here I go!" he rammed me with great force. I placed my sword in the form of a defense, thus stopping his two arms, but he used the other two generating blows to my abdomen, thus bouncing my sword. I could see blood come out of my mouth.

"James!" shouted Astrid, trying to help me.

"Calm down!" Kuatsuro took her by the waist, he trusts him.

I didn't want to disappoint Astrid as much as Katsuro. I was even more enfuriated, but I noticed something strange in my body, a kind of aura also covered my body, this one was white.

"Here up!" I moved along the side of the room, my feet adhered to the wall perfectly, the spirit tried to catch me with his two giant arms, destroying them completely. I kept moving forward and again tried to catch me with his two smallest arms, I made a circular cut with my sword around them. He had left the beast without his arms fully exposed.

"Do it," Katsuro ordered.

"Don't you think it's enough?" I retired from the body.

He immediately spit on an object that resembled a spear in the direction of Astrid. It passed by my head, I could only see when the spear moved little by little. Katsuro used a katana to split the spear in two inviting so he will pierce Astrid's chest. It faded appearing in front of the body of the spirit.

"When you are in front of a spirit you have to finish the job, James," he kept his katanas. As the body of the spirit turned around began to collapse into many pieces, Katsuro's speed was so impressive that it took only a few seconds to kill. - If I had not been there, the girl would have died.

"Now could you explain to me what the hell is going on here, James?" Astrid turned to me quite scared.

"It's been enough for today, miss," Katsuro thundered his fingers, disappearing from the place. I had appeared in my room with him.

"Hey and Astrid?" What happened to her? I wanted to know.

"She is in her room just like us." She sat on the edge of the bed. "There is something that has bothered me since that battle and I don't understand how that girl could see everything."

"I was wondering the same thing, only I was supposed to see that, wasn't it?" I turned my neck to observe it.

"I understand that yes," he vanished.

The next day I left home for college, I needed to find Astrid, there were certain things that had been pending and I wanted to be clear about that.

At the entrance alone, my classmates were murmuring something.

"What's going on?" I joined the group. "What's the scandal?"

"Today is the delivery of the math test we took and we are all worried about the results except Harry, we know that he always goes well."

Deep down, I also felt calm, because he passed me the whole exam.

"Well, we'll see how we get out," we go into the classroom.

The teacher came in with his briefcase and his horrendous glasses. His walk was strange and he always combed his hair with a party in the center of his head.

"Dear students, today I bring the results of the exams and I want to tell you since they have been a complete disaster," he began to limp as if he enjoyed that.

He began to take the exams one by one, he just looked at the disappointed faces of those who passed with him. In the exams he looked thirty out of a hundred, ten out of a hundred, but when he called Harry he congratulated him and it was nothing strange.

"James Brixt," He called.

I went to his desk and the first thing I saw on my exam was a hundred out of a hundred. He stared at me reluctantly.

"I don't know how you did it, but this exam doesn't convince me, there has to be something behind this result, young man," he lowered his glasses to see me directly.

I just took my exam and retired.

"Well, as you can see, everyone has been a complete failure except for Harry and young James, we will have to congratulate them both," he stood in front of the blackboard. At that moment everyone began to laugh. "Why are they laughing again?" he watched in all directions in anger.

We went out into the corridors, it was free time and at the end of the corridor I managed to see Astrid's back walking, I began to accelerate the pace by taking away the students who stood in front of me.

He entered the library, so I did. He was at a table with a book, apparently he liked reading.

"Astrid, we have to talk," I whispered to him as I sat down.

"Yes, what?" he continued reading.

"From last night, everything has its explanation," I took his hand.

"What are you talking about, James?" Last night I was at home having dinner with my parents, are you sure you're okay?" he closeed his book.

"But... last night... what you saw..." I frowned.

"I don't know what you mean, James, I don't like that you give me those kinds of jokes either," he kept his book and left.

"It will be impossible for her to remember anything," Katsuro appeared in front of me.

"Hey, you should talk before you show up, suddenly you will kill me with the scare." I crossed my arms. "Why do you say it will be impossible for me to remember anything?"

"Well, because I have it under a spell of memory loss, but I don't promise anything, I don't know how long it can last." I knew you would do this the next day and I wanted to make sure you didn't commit any stupidity," he came to my ear. "Do you want this girl's life to be in danger?
