The incident at Mr. Aryo's house

Just focused on his work, the voice reappeared. His heart was beating wildly. He had thought of something bad about the knocker. But his curiosity overcame his fear. In the end he chose to open the door.

With very careful steps, he headed straight for it. The first thing he did before opening the door was to look at it from the window. But, it was not helpful enough to see who was now standing at the door.

No matter what will happen, Aryo decides to open the door. He slowly pulled the doorknob and finally saw who had come to visit.

"Revelation. Who do I think. Why come here at night?" asked Aryo.

"Why is Mr. Aryo panicking like that?" asked Wahyu.

 "No. It's okay," said Aryo.

"Hmm. I just want to ask for water, Sir. Hehehe. I'm thirsty around the village," he said.

"Oh. I'll take a minute," said Aryo.

Confused, that's how Aryo feels right now. A question arose in his heart. Was it Wahyu who knocked on the door earlier? But if it's Wahyu, what's the benefit for him?

Aryo threw his thoughts away. He took a bottle of water that was in the refrigerator to give to Wahyu.

Just as he picked it up, a sound like something falling rang out clearly in his ears. The direction came from the inner room. Whether it's the kitchen or the bathroom. Fear and curiosity hit him again. But once again his curiosity won. He decided to check it out. In the kitchen, nothing fell. But when he checked into the bathroom, he saw that there was a dipper fall on the floor. He thought, maybe the sound came from the dipper that fell.

It turned out to be nothing. After he put the dipper in its place, he went back to Wahyu to give the bottle of water to him.

"Are you going around the village alone?" asked Aryo.

"I'm traveling alone, Sir. Because we're split up. But when it comes to the post, there are a lot of people," Wahyu replied. Aryo nodded in understanding.

"The house is still dark. The person hasn't come home yet, sir?" Wahyu asked, pointing at Marni's house using his eye signal.

 "Not yet," answered Aryo.

"Oh. That's it, I continue to walk around. Thank you for the water," said Wahyu.

 "Yes you're welcome."

For some reason, Wahyu seems to be hiding something. His gaze and behavior seemed to be suspicious of Aryo. But don't know what to suspect.

He left Aryo's house and headed to Mr. Slamet's coffee shop which was quite far from Aryo's house. There were several people there, including his friends.

"Mr. Slamet, one coffee," he said.

 "Okay," said Mr. Slamet.

"Safe, Yu?" asked one of his friends.

"Safe. But you must know this," said Wahyu.

Of course his words made others curious. But no one asked. They prefer to wait for Wahyu to tell him.

"It turns out that Marni has gone home," said Wahyu.

 "Really?"

"Yes. But not going home," said Wahyu.

 "You mean?"

"Earlier, I saw her knocking on Mr. Aryo's door. Mr. Aryo opened it and Marni entered his house. After that he closed the door," said Wahyu.

"Then after that I tried to visit his house to make sure what I saw was true or false. Strangely, when he opened the door of his house, he seemed surprised at my arrival. I'm sure he would be afraid if I saw Marni in there," he continued.

"Don't talk nonsense! It can be a slander later."

"I saw it with my own eyes. It can't be wrong," said Wahyu.

"But Mr. Aryo has a wife and children. Time to invite Marni to his house. It's the same as looking for disaster," said one of his friends.

"Maybe what you see is not Marni, but Mr. Aryo's wife," said another.

"No. I'm very sure that it's Marni. If you don't believe it, we can prove it now," said Wahyu.

Out of curiosity and did not believe the words of Wahyu, everyone agreed. Even the coffee that had just been ordered was left as it was. The five of them left the coffee shop to go to Aryo's house.

previously, Wahyu had instructed everyone to come politely. For what? So that there be no commotion. Even if it is true that Aryo brought Marni into his house, the problem can be resolved amicably.

"Remember! Come politely. Don't act rashly!" said Wahyu.

"Yes. We understand." After that, Wahyu knocked on Aryo's door. Not only knocking, but also calling the name of the owner of the house to get out. And apparently, not long after, Aryo opened the door of his house.

"What is this?" asked Aryo confused.

"It's nothing, Sir. We just want to visit your house. If Mr. Aryo allows," said one of them.

"I'm sorry, gentlemen. It's not that I don't allow it. But it's late at night. I'm afraid that I will disturb my wife and children," said Aryo.

"Is that so, Sir? Well then, straight to the point."

"Wait a minute! What's this about? What's to the point?" asked Aryo again.

One of the five people smiled and walked over to Aryo. Of course, with the intention of questioning Marni, who was said to have entered Aryo's house.

"I'm sorry, Sir. We permit. Can we rummage your house?

 "Why?" asked Aryo.

 "It's about Marni's disappearance, Sir."

"So you mean I was hiding Marni, right?" ask Aryo.

"Oh. No, Sir. Listen first! Earlier, we saw you open the door. And we clearly saw that the visitor was Marni."

"Don't slander! I have a wife and children. How could I allow other women into my house. Especially at night," said Aryo firmly.

"Yes, Sir. I understand. But allow us to search it first."

Aryo tried to control his emotion. Sometimes the citizens cast such accusations against him. It was really beyond expectation. But, in order to maintain his good name, he decided to do what the residents asked him to do.

"Okay. Please search my house. But don't let my wife and child wake up," said Aryo.

After getting approval from the host, the five men went straight in and checked everything in that house. It took them a long time to investigate, but couldn't find the person they were referring to. As a result they returned without getting anything.

"How? Is the Marni you're looking for here? If so, where is she now? Why don't you bring her here?" asked Aryo.
