Arrival

Arran opened his eyes and was greeted by the interior of the shuttle he was riding in. He quickly sat up and rubbed his eyes. Somehow, the migraine from almost having his head split apart in the dreamscape still transferred onto Arran’s real body. This just goes to show how much his dreamscape could now affect his real body after it evolved.

“Are you feeling alright?”

Just as Arran was lamenting his dismal fate, he suddenly heard a voice asking him a question in concern.

Turning to the side, Arran saw Vice Dean Hubert looking at him closely. There was a hint of worry in his bespectacled eyes and Arran could sense waves of concern wafting out of him intermittently, like signals in a turbulent storm.

Ever since his evolution, Arran had become more sensitive to everything around him. He noticed that everything emitted certain frequencies of signals and by reading these signals, he could intuitively get a feeling of those things.
