Dig Into The Details

As Alora, Elle and Dan came out of the courtroom, the lawyer stopped them.

"What's up, Ron?". Elle asked.

"I just wanted to tell you that the time starts tomorrow morning at 8:00. It would be better to learn more about the guy and go to the human world as soon as possible". Ron told.

"Sure, Ron". Elle smiled.

"Wait, who IS the guy?". Alora inquired.

Ron smiled and shook his head. "It's not me who'll tell this to you, princess. I don't know who he is. It's better if you go to Jade".

"Jade?". Elle thought for a while.

Alora's eyes widened. "Jade, Magician?".

"Yeah".

"Ooh.. the pro in black magic, right?". Dan asked.

"Yeah". Ron chuckled.

"Okay?". Elle was biting her lips. "I don't feel like I should send her to that cave, it's so creepy".

"He's the biggest supporter of The Seawrights, Madam". Ron told. "It's more than safer".

"Hmm". Elle nodded. "I'll talk to her grandparents before sending her there".

"Sure Madam, allow me to leave now". Ron asked for permission.

"I'll wait for you at the dinner, Ron". Alora said.

Ron blushed and looked away. Alora always had SOMETHING for Ron. A handsome, vampire lawyer he was. But he didn't knew that she had a crush on him. He just thought it's her friendliness. Moreover, he liked her too.

"Will you be there, Ron?". Alora asked.

"I will be there". He smiled and walked past her.

She inhaled his scent with a grin.

"Look at you!". Dan exclaimed .

"Princess is in love". Elle said.

"FORMER PRINCESS". Alora stressed.

"QUEEN TO BE". Dan added.

"Ha_ now's not the time for this. Let's head home". Alora said.

"Yes, your grandpa would be waiting". Elle nodded.

As the three of them got out of the court, a crowd of Vampires stood raising slogans against the Scarrows.

As soon as they saw Alora, they screamed in joy and tried to come nearer her.

"I'll be addressing you before leaving for the human world. Have faith and stay loyal to me, my people". Alora announced.

"Our sympathies are with you, Princess". A vampire shouted.

"LONG LIVE ALORA".

"long live Alora". Soon everyone started raising slogans and three of them walked out along with the guards.

The Seawrights left the palace as soon as King Corbin Seawright died. They lived in their mansion again.

At home, Alora's Grandparents were waiting desperately for her.

Alora entered the room and sat next to her Grandma, sighing loudly.

"We heard the verdict". Her Grandma, Veronica said.

"It's so sad that we have to get the throne back all over again". Alora's Grandpa, Stephan curled his lips in disappointment.

"You can count on me, pa". Alora consoled him.

"I know, I can. But what if something bad happens? I can't lose you, Alora". Stephen sobbed.

"Pa?". Alora chuckled softly. She took his hand and squeezed it. "You won't lose me! I'm not a baby girl. I'm a woman now. You just have to wish me good luck. I'll bring the throne back to Seawrights".

"We don't have greed of getting the throne. We just want to protect it from The Scarrows". Veronica said.

Elle took off her overcoat and sat beside Veronica. Dan was still standing there, listening to them.

"Give me some tips, Pa". Alora asked.

"What tips?". Stephen was confused.

"When Father went to the human world to get that soul.. what did he do? I mean, it's a big world, how did he found him?". Alora elaborated.

"It wasn't him, it was HER". Stephen smiled. "That HER fell for your father's charm and came into the Vampire World. The Scarrows were never attractive. There was not even a half percent chance of that woman to fall for Alice's Father". Stephen told.

"It's like, betrayal". Alora said sadly.

"You think just like your Father, princess". Veronica grinned.

"I do? How?".

"Your father was so sad that he had to lie to that woman. But she was deeply in love with Corbin. She happily agreed to sacrifice her life".

"What!?". Alora's jaws fell. "Are you kidding me?".

"Love is something which could force you to do anything". Veronica stroked Alora's back.

"I'm so stunned". Alora giggled. "But Pa? How is the soul of a human responsible for the life of the throne?".

"You remember that stone engraved where your father used to sit? It used to glow all day long. It's glow is the reason for the prosperity in the Vampire World. It shined with the soul of that chosen person". Stephen explained. "You have to put life into it for the prosperity of our world, dear".

"Uhuh". Alora nodded. "I get it now". She stood up. "I won't come back without the soul".

"Um, Father?". Elle cleared her throat. "Ron told she should go to Jade to know more about the person".

"Yeah.. just like Corbin did". Stephen nodded.

"I think it's unsafe for her to go there".

"Absolutely not, dear". Stephen shook his head. "Jade seems to be a creep but he is the biggest support to us.. send her asap".

"As you wish". Elle obeyed. She turned to Dan. "You'll be taking her, Dan".

"Sure, Mother". Dan used to call Elle Mother because he was now like the part of their family.

"I'll get ready". Alora said. "Also, PREPARE A NICE DINNER ASHLEY, RON'S COMING TONIGHT". She yelled at the maid.

"Sure, princess". Ashley replied.

Dan followed Alora to her room.

"It's quite an adventure". He said, closing the door behind him.

"You coming with me, yeah?". Alora took off her muffler.

"Of course!". He exclaimed. "I would even go to hell with you".

"I know". Alora smiled. "Thank you for supporting me through thick and thin. If it wasn't you, I would have never recovered from the shock of father's death".

"You know what they used to say on the earth? A friend in need, is a friend indeed". Dan told.

"I understand". Alora nodded.

Dan smiled and moved at her. He raised her chin. "You can do it, Alora".

Alora looked into his eyes and nodded. "Thank you".

"Hmm". Dan hummed. "Now let's get going, Alora. We have someone special coming at the dinner today! It would be wrong if we kept him waiting". He was talking about Ron.

Alora blushed. "Should I confess to him?".

"Ofcourse! You should tell him before you leave. Then there will be someone waiting for you here and you'll do your work faster".

"I guess you're right". Alora said. "Give me a minute, I'll get changed". She walked towards the bathroom and turned back again.

"Should I wear something casual?"

"How about something sexy? I mean, you won't get enough time to get ready for Ron when we come back from the cave!". Dan advised.

"Alright?". She said confusingly and went inside the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
