One moment, Alex Lopez was a brilliant 28-year-old urban planner and infrastructure specialist in Berlin, Germany a city renowned for its cutting-edge engineering, sustainable urban development, and layers of complex history spanning from the Holy Roman Empire to the modern European powerhouse. Buried under relentless projects blending historical preservation with futuristic city planning, he pushed himself to exhaustion. The next, he awakens in the frail body of Prince Alexander Valthor a forgotten son of the king, framed by his ruthless step-siblings and exiled to the barren wasteland of Valthoria. Sentenced to a slow death under the mocking order to “rule the state,” Alexander should have perished like so many before him. Dragged along with him is Annalise, his betrothed wife, who was completely abandoned by her own father after her mother died giving birth to her. But Alex came prepared with something this regressive Bronze Age world has never seen: a powerful World Saviour System, deep expertise in advanced infrastructure, resource optimization, historical regeneration, and large-scale project management, plus an unbreakable determination to build something extraordinary. Every victory earns points. Every failure raises the stakes. With milestones measured in hundreds of billions and trillions, Alex will ascend through multiple worlds, uncover the ancient truth behind the world’s long stagnation, and climb toward godhood itself. In a land where hope has long been forgotten, one exiled prince will rewrite destiny one irrigation canal, one loyal heart, one innovative breakthrough, and one hard-won discovery at a time.

CHAPTER ONE-THE EXILE AND THE CREATOR ENGINE

The stench of rotting wood and stale copper was the first thing that hit his senses.

Alex Lopez blinked, his eyes stinging from a heavy layer of floating dust. He tried to raise his arm to shield his face, but a sudden, sharp ache shot through his chest, forcing a ragged gasp from his throat. His limbs felt entirely too light, entirely too weak—like hollow reeds brittle enough to snap under a light breeze.

“Where… am I?”

His voice didn't sound like his own. It was too raspy, too high-pitched, and laced with a pathetic, trembling frailty.

The last thing he remembered was the sterile, humming glare of the overhead lights in his Berlin office. He had been staring at a massive blueprinted grid of a sustainable urban transit layout, his third cup of black coffee cooling beside a mountain of unapproved city permits. Then, a sharp, iron-grip pain had seized his chest. His vision had tunneled, the distant, panicked screams of his colleagues fading into a dull roar before everything went pitch black.

He had died. At twenty-eight, he had literally worked himself to death for a city planning firm that would replace him by Monday.

But the cold, splintered wooden floor pressing against his cheek right now felt entirely too real for the afterlife.

"Your Highness? Please, you must drink some water."

A voice, soft but cracked with absolute exhaustion, drifted into his ringing ears.

Alex forced his head up, his hazel eyes adjusting to the dim, oppressive space. He wasn't in a hospital. He was inside a crumbling stone hall that looked like it belonged in a museum for ancient ruins. Sunlight cut through jagged holes in the high ceiling, illuminating dancing motes of dust over a cracked throne made of dull, tarnished bronze.

Kneeling beside him was a young woman. Even caked in dirt and wearing a tattered, ash-gray gown, her striking looks were undeniable. She had cascading silver-white hair that fell over her slouched shoulders and deep, expressive eyes that held a devastating mixture of fear, grief, and residual trauma. She was holding a chipped clay bowl containing a shallow pool of murky, gray-brown water.

"Who...?" Alex croaked, his throat burning like sandpaper.

Before she could answer, a violent surge of foreign memories ruptured into his brain. Alex clutched his temples, groaning as two lifetimes collided inside his skull.

He wasn't Alex Lopez anymore. He was Prince Alexander Valthor, the absolute disgrace of the Eldoria Empire. Born with a fractured mana core, he was considered useless in a world ruled by magical affinity. When his father, the King, fell ill, Alexander’s ambitious stepsiblings—Prince Darius and Lady Seraphina—framed him for a treasonous plot.

To humiliate him completely, they stripped him of his titles and forced him into an arranged political marriage with Annalise Voss—a noble daughter from a fallen house who had been brutally abandoned and cast out by her own abusive family. Together, they were exiled to Valthoria Province, a barren, sun-scorched desert outpost meant to be their graveyard.

Alex looked back at the girl. This was Annalise. His abandoned wife. Like him, she had been thrown away by the world.

"Your Highness, please," Annalise whispered, her hands trembling as she held out the bowl. "If you do not drink, the desert heat will claim you before the sun sets. I... I cannot lose you too. We are all each other has left."

Alex looked down at the water. It was filthy, swimming with sediment and bacteria. Drinking it meant dysentery or worse. But his body was screaming for hydration. He reached out to take the bowl, his heart sinking as he saw his own emaciated, sun-baked hands.

Is this it?Alex thought bitterly. I survived a fatal heart attack in Berlin just to die of dehydration and heatstroke in a fantasy wasteland?

Suddenly, a crisp, chime echoed directly inside his mind.

【Ding! Dynamic synchronization complete. Match found: Soul Type - Master Planner / Civilization Architect.】

【World Saviour System initializing...】

【Host confirmed: Alex Valthor.】

Alex froze. The clay bowl nearly slipped from his fingers.

A semi-transparent, neon-blue interface materialized in his field of vision, hovering flawlessly in the air. Annalise didn't seem to notice it; her worried gaze remained fixed entirely on his face.

【Initializing AI Assistant Guide: Sylph.】

“Greetings, Host,” a melodious, synthesized female voice spoke directly into his consciousness. “I am Sylph. The World Saviour System has activated to prevent the eventual collapse of this planet's infrastructure. To begin your journey from exile to emperor, you must first secure your foundation.”

Alex’s modern mind, seasoned by years of strategy games and structural engineering, adapted rapidly. A system. A literal civilization-building engine. "Sylph," Alex thought mentally, testing the boundaries of the interface. "What is my current status?"

【Ding! Displaying Regional Status for Valthoria Outpost:】

Current Ruler: Alex Valthor (Exiled Prince)

Territory Population: 142 commoners (Malnourished / Diseased)

  Water Security: 0.0% (Critical Danger)

    Food Security: 1.2% (Starvation Imminent)

Territory Loyalty Status: 4% (Absolute Distrust / Despair)

     System Points (SP): 0

Four percent loyalty, Alex realized, his analytical mind kicking into overdrive. The people here didn't view him as a savior; they viewed him as a useless royal brat sent here to drag them down into the graves his siblings dug for him. And looking at the water in Annalise's hands, he couldn't blame them.

"Host,”Sylph warned, “your physical body is currently operating at 12% vital capacity. Severe dehydration will cause irreversible organ failure in four hours. The murky water provided contains 420,000 bacterial colonies per milliliter. Consuming it will trigger the 'Dysentery' status, reducing survival chance to zero.”

"Then give me an alternative, Sylph," Alex demanded in his mind. "There has to be a starter package."

【Ding! Detecting First-Time Startup. Unlocking Starter Reward: The Creator Engine's Blueprint Eyes(Passive Skill).】

【Skill Effect: Allows the Host to see underlying structural wireframes, hidden fault lines, water tables, and resource veins beneath the earth up to a depth of 50 meters.】

Instantly, Alex's vision shifted. The crumbling stone walls of the keep suddenly became overlaid with glowing, geometric grid lines. He looked down through the floorboards, and the solid rock transformed into a transparent wireframe.

Deep beneath the dead, sun-baked dirt of the courtyard, he saw a glowing vein of pulsing blue lines.

Water. An ancient, subterranean fault line was trapping an untouched, pressurized aquifer directly beneath this ruined keep. The primitive Bronze Age tools of the local peasants couldn't dig deep enough through the bedrock to reach it, but to a modern urban architect, it was a goldmine waiting to be tapped.

Alex pushed the clay bowl gently away from his lips, his gaze sharpening with a sudden, commanding intensity that made Annalise gasp. The frail, pathetic look in the exiled prince's eyes had vanished, replaced by the calculating, unyielding fire of a master engineer.

"Do not drink that, Annalise," Alex said, his voice stronger now, carrying an innate authority. "That water is poison. It will kill us both."

"But Your Highness..." Annalise's eyes welled with tears, her voice breaking. "There is nothing else. The wells are dry. The rivers are dust. If we do not drink this, we die today."

Alex pushed himself up from the floor, his weak muscles groaning, but he stood tall, looking out through the shattered gates of the keep toward the desolate, heat-shimmering desert landscape.

"We are not going to die," Alex declared, turning to face his abandoned wife, the blue system grids reflecting invisibly in his eyes. "Tell the people to gather every iron rod, rope, and hollow reed they have left. By nightfall, I will give this territory pure, endless water. And then, we are going to rebuild this wasteland into an empire."
