It looked like it took just a twinkle of an eye and David was on the plane with Stefanie.

He couldn't leave her alone in the town, she looked sick and he didn't trust her uncle.

As they sat in the plane, they were flying through the night.

They were sitting a few seats from each other and no, it was not because they got into some kind of argument.

It was because she was dozing off and David laid her on the chair to give her as much space as she needed.

She never really slept off, her eyes were half shut, and she was looking at David through the half-shut lids.

He looked worried, the way he looked out of the window, even though it was nothing but darkness out there.

She felt her heart worry for him, whatever was in his head right now that was making him worry so much.

She knew how much he cared for Gary, the man was like his father – but David wasn't going to be caught saying that.

She shut her eyes again and said a small prayer to God. For David's sake, let Gary be okay.
