"I really hope I am not going to run into Billy-Bob and his underdogs. I don't want to end my day ruined." he said to himself before smiling. "I can't believe Lisa Klein is my girlfriend." Danny smiles to himself again. "At least today I will get paid then I would treat her like the princess she is." He pick up speed wanting to get this day over. He has a date.

Danny instantly knew the moment he made a huge mistake; stepping into the locker room…the camera was rolling; the primary focus the star of the school; quarterback; Billy-Bob…

“Get that fucker…” Billy-Bob screamed in fury. He just managed to found the perfect moment to capture his newly develop muscles.

“I…I am sorry,” Danny start but a punch in the stomach silence him. He felt his body being lifted from the floor. The football equipment dropped loudly on the locker room floor.

“Please…don’t,” Danny begs feeling the dizziness grabbing around his head.

“Shut up,” Sam said looking for approval toward Billy-Bob.

“Where do you want him?” Adam seem to hold the runt of the school almost effortlessly like a sack of flour. He absently realized he could break his back. The steroids work like a charm.

Danny was trying his best to control the dizziness.

“Drop him,” Billy-Bob orders.

“Sure, Boss.”

Danny landed with a loud thud of the floor. He instantly curled into a protective position. The frequent attack didn’t arrive. Surprise; he tried looking up. The moment his eyes opened, he looked directly into the already pointed foot. The kick in the face; sharp and vicious. He felt the blood spurted from his mouth.

Danny fights not to lose consciousness. The blood flows from his mouth and down his throat, tasting like rustic iron. After several moments of blinking his eyes he finally managed to focus. The reason for his daily humiliation sits watching him from the bench.

“You are a resi…resili…what the fuck is the word; Matt?”

“He is a resilient fuck, Billy-Bob,”

“Why did you ruin my moment?”

“Sorry…sorry, didn’t mean to.” Danny slowly shifted into a sitting position. He dares not wipe the still flowing blood from his bruised mouth. He swallows some of his own blood.

“What are you always doing here?” Billy-Bob looked at the guy he hates on sight.

“The coach…I ask for work.” He stuttered.

“Why?”

“Pocket money,” he said looking away feeling shame.

“Who the fuck are you? How did you get into this school?”

“Billy, the fucker is smart but very poor.” Matt supplied the answer.

“If he is so fucking smart, why is he poor?

Danny just sit watching the guy the whole school thinks is a prize. He was just mean and a nobody without a ball in his hand.

“Why do you look at me like you have an opinion?” Billy-Bob growls softly.

Danny knew no matter what he says, he will regret it. He decided to lower his eyes, hating feeling like the loser he was. He took slow breathes praying he would get through today. Once the day finish, he would receive his money. Then he can spoil the most gorgeous girl in school…his girlfriend. Lisa Klein was the reason he can endure this daily punishments.

“Enough of this loser.” Billy-Bob stood suddenly. He grabbed weights walking towards Danny. “Flat on your back loser.”

“Why,” Danny asks before he could control himself.

“Don’t question me.”

Adam and Sam quickly come closer. Both grabbed Danny and forced him down on his back. Billy-Bob uses the weights to trap his body on the floor.

“Once you manage to free yourself, these better be clean.” Billy-Bob reach for all his dirty stinking socks dumping it all on Danny. He then throws a fifty dollar note nearby.

The guys in the locker room start to laugh. They all join by throwing their dirty stinking socks on the trapped Danny.

Danny tries getting the soiled socks from his face. He can barely breath. He feels the bile rising in his throat.

‘I will make you pay,’ he said spitting the sock from his mouth. The foul smell was overwhelming.

‘I hate being poor,’ he tries his best to get the weights of his body. It feels like he was being crushed.

“Help,” he called when he hears noises close to the door. He thought he was alone but apparently there were people hiding too.

‘No one is going to help, fool.’ He grumbles to himself.

Taking deep breathes he slowly and painfully managed to roll from beneath the weights. As he still sits amongst the stinking socks, he feels disgusted and ashamed. At least until now he has managed to hide the crap he has to suffer from his gorgeous girlfriend.

“Danny…”

The Coach of University Ricardo Saint-Claire enters the locker room. The moment he saw the scene he looked for the boy who begged for a change to earn some money.

“Are you okay, son?” Jerry noticed the weights. He holds out a hand waiting for the boy to take it.

“I am fine, sir.”

“Who did this Danny?”

“Doesn’t matter, sir.”

The older man decided to drop this for now but he intent on getting behind the truth. The school can’t be held liable for assault and bullying.

“Did you need me for something, sir?” Danny takes care to move slowly. His chest feels bruised and very sensitive.

“Here you go.” The Coach handed him his payment. “Thanks for helping.”

Danny took the money and stuffed the notes into his pocket.

“Aren’t you going to count it?”

“No; sir.” Danny bend down and start pilling the socks.

“Once you finish here, you can go home. Do you need a lift?”

“No; sir. I am fine.”

Danny waited until the Coach left. He reached into his pocket and start to count the money. He was surprise when he realized he received more then what they agreed upon. A smile spread over his bruised face.

Once he finished putting the money back in his pocket; he moved to the mirror. He noticed the blood has started to dry. “Bloody hell; Lisa will be shocked.” He said to his reflection. “I have to think of a lie. I don’t want her thinking I am a loser too.”

He quickly gathered all the stinking socks and throws them into the nearest trash cans. He shut the lit walking towards the door.

“Someday…I won’t be a loser.” He told his reflection. He stood a moment looking around. He knows some of the players are decent but guys like Billy-Bob only shines as school bullies.

“Hmm, that’s the spot,” the throaty voice whispered.

Danny with his hand on the doorknob suddenly stopped. He frowns thinking he was alone in the locker rooms. He stood still. After a moment thinking it was his imagination. About to turn away the definite female groan stop him. He was now certain he wasn't alone.

“I am not a pervert,” he said to himself. He reached to open the door.

“You are the best,” the voice groans in open pleasure. The voice sounded very familiar.

Danny stood motionless. It feels like his heart just broke. He shakes his head thinking it was the kick against the head that was messing with his hearing.

“I am a loser, so I am constantly told. “Am I a fool too?”

Danny feels the stress of the impending knowledge knotting his shoulder muscles. Now; very carefully closing the locker room door he turns on his heels. Slowly walking closer towards the showers. He can hear the sexual sounds coming from just behind the curtain.

“Am I right…” he stood listening.

“I did something that would benefit my girlfriend…”

“Treated like dirt…”

Danny took a deep breath before he pulled the curtain opened. He was shocked by what he saw, the truth nakedly in his face.

“What the hell; Lisa?” he asked in shock.
