The next morning.

A shocking livestream exploded on the internet.

In the video, Karen was sitting on the floor of her living room, hair messy, crying with snot and tears. Lily sat beside her, looking haggard and pitiful.

"Family! Please help us!" Karen wailed at the camera. "My son-in-law, Lucas King, is a beast! He hid his billions from us for three years! He ate our food and lived in our house, pretending to be poor!"

"Now that he revealed his identity, he kicked his wife and mother-in-law out of the house! He even bankrupted my daughter's company! He is a heartless demon!"

Lily chimed in, sobbing softly: "I loved him so much... I didn't know he was rich... I just want an apology..."

The comment section exploded with anger from ignorant netizens.

"OMG! What a scumbag!" "Boycott the Wilson Group! Boycott Lucas King!" "He abandoned his wife after getting rich? Men are trash!"

Karen looked at the rising viewer count (1 million people!) and smirked secretly.

"Lucas," she thought viciously. "If you don't give me 2.5 billion dollars today, I will ruin your reputation! You are a businessman. You care about your image, right?"

...

In the CEO's Office.

Lucas sat in his leather chair, watching the livestream on the big screen. His expression was calm, even amused.

"Chairman," Anna said anxiously. "Public opinion is very bad. The stock price dropped by 2%. Should we ban their livestream?"

"No," Lucas took a sip of tea. "Let them perform. The higher they climb, the harder they fall."

Lucas pressed a button on his desk phone.

"Sebastian."

"Yes, Young Master?"

"Activate the 'King's Legal Team'. Send Mr. Specter to the Carter Villa. And... tell the Chief of Police to go with him."

"It's time to teach them the law."

...

Back at the Carter Villa.

Karen was getting excited. "Family! Please donate to support our lawsuit! We are going to sue this evil billionaire!"

Gift notifications kept popping up on the screen. She had already made $10,000 in donations!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Suddenly, violent knocking came from the door.

"Is he here? Did he come to pay?" Karen's eyes lit up. She whispered to Lily, "Keep the camera rolling! If he bows and apologizes, we will ask for 3 billion!"

Karen rushed to open the door.

"Lucas! You finally came..."

Her smile froze.

Standing outside wasn't Lucas. It was a group of men in black suits, looking cold and sharp. The leader was a middle-aged man with silver glasses, holding a briefcase.

Behind them stood ten police officers with guns.

"Who... who are you?" Karen stammered.

The man in glasses adjusted his tie and walked in. He looked straight at the livestream camera, then at Karen.

"I am the Chief Legal Counsel for the King Family, Harvey Specter."

"We are not here to negotiate. We are here to deliver a lawsuit."

Karen panicked. "Lawsuit? What lawsuit?"

Harvey opened his briefcase and threw a stack of documents onto the table.

"First, Defamation. You spread false rumors online, causing significant damage to Mr. King's reputation. We are suing you for $500 million in damages."

"Second, Fraud. During the three years of marriage, Mr. King secretly transferred $10,000 a month to Lily Carter's account for household expenses. But you used it to buy luxury bags and gamble. We have all the bank records. We are demanding the return of $360,000 immediately."

"Third," Harvey pointed at the donation button on the screen. "You are using lies to solicit money from the public. That is Internet Fraud."

Karen's legs turned to jelly. "Five... Five hundred million? I don't have that money!"

"If you can't pay," Harvey smiled coldly, "then you will pay with your freedom."

"Officers, please execute the arrest."

The police officers rushed forward.

Click!

Cold silver handcuffs were locked onto Karen's wrists.

"No! Let me go!" Karen screamed like a pig being slaughtered. "I am the mother-in-law of the Chairman! You can't arrest me! Lily! Save me!"

Lily was trembling in the corner, her face pale. She didn't dare to move. She realized that Lucas was not joking. He really wanted to destroy them.

The livestream was still on. 2 million viewers watched as the arrogant "victim" was handcuffed by the police for fraud.

The comments instantly flipped.

"Wait! She was lying?" "The lawyer showed the bank records! Lucas gave them money every month!" "Serves her right! Greedy old witch!"

Harvey walked up to the camera. He fixed his glasses and spoke calmly to the 2 million viewers.

"This is a warning from the King Family. Anyone who insults our Chairman will end up like her."

Bzzzt.

The livestream ended.

Karen was dragged into the police car, wailing in despair. Lily collapsed on the floor, knowing that her life was completely ruined.

...

In the Office.

Lucas turned off the screen.

"Boring," he commented.

"Anna, prepare the car."

"Where to, Chairman?"

"The Auction House," Lucas stood up, his eyes shining with ambition. "Now that the trash is taken care of, it's time to spend some real money. I heard there is a necklace called 'Heart of the Ocean'. I want it."
