Chapter 1
"Shut your twerp you trash." A feminine voice resounded in the villa as she looked at the figure kneeling in front of her, the disdain in her eyes was evident."Mother, I just need some dollars...""Don't call me that, you're not worthy to become my son." The woman, Rachel, snorted, interrupting the man."But..""Shut up trash, haven't you heard what my mother said?" A voice boomed, interrupting the figure once again.Harrison sighed as his head dropped low looking at the floor. He couldn't meet the gazes of the two figures before him. One was his mother-in-law and the other was her son.He had come to the villa to ask his mother-in-law for money as he didn't have a job. Ever since he had managed to graduate from the University five years ago, he had been jobless, and no matter what he did, he just couldn't get a job.He had been all by himself since a young age and didn't know who his parents were. He had relied on some menial jobs to keep himself going. Then some years ago, he got married to his wife. The grandfather of his wife believed he had a great future and insisted he get married to his granddaughter. Ever since then, his mother-in-law had despised him and had been calling him useless. He could only endure all her harsh words as there was nothing he could do about it. Only his wife stood firmly by his side and had supported him since they had been married."How about we play a little game, if I'm satisfied, I'll give you what you want." A voice came bringing Harrison out of his thoughts.Harrison sighed, raising his head as he looked at his brother-in-law. Even though he knew the outcome of whatever game he wanted to play wasn't going to be good, he still clenched his teeth as he replied."I'll play.""There's a little dust on my shoes, I'd like you to help to clean it." Stephen smiled as he stared at Harrison."Fine," Harrison muttered as he approached Stephen before crouching down to clean the shoes."I just forgot to tell you, you'll have to use your tongue to lick my shoes clean." Stephen suddenly added, making Harrison freeze."You dare not do it?" Stephen frowned as he looked at Harrison who seemed to have lost his soul."I'll do it." Harrison sighed as he swallowed his pride. He knew he would have no dignity if he did, but he had no other choice. There had been a saying since ancient times that money could enslave Gods and Demons. One would go to any length just to get it. That was exactly what was happening at the moment.Harrison sighed and proceeded to lick Stephen's shoes clean. His eyes were red as the humiliation was great.Bang!Stephen suddenly raised his legs and kicked Harrison, making the latter fly backwards hitting the wall as he wasn't expecting it."I didn't expect that you were a dog. You've truly got no dignity." Stephen laughed as he looked at Harrison who was struggling to stand up."Where's that pride of yours, I used to think that you had some pride, but now, I see that it's not there.""You're not even worthy of cleaning my shoes, do you think I'll allow your cursed self to touch me? Dream on!" Stephen laughed as he ridiculed Harrison.Harrison's head dropped low as he clenched his fist tightly listening to Stephen's words. He knew he was trash, but then there was nothing he could do about it. He was just truly useless. He wished the ground would open and swallow him up. But then it was just all wishful thinking."I wonder what that idiot of a girl sees in him." Rachel laughed as he looked at Harrison."I'd like to see your next move." Stephen smiled as he looked at Harrison whose head was dropped."What...""Shut up idiot, who do you think you're talking to that way?" A voice came interrupting Stephen."And what do you want, Caroline?" Stephen frowned as he turned around to look at the owner of the voice."How dare you insult my husband?" Caroline fumed as she stared at her stepbrother. She had also come to request some money but then had witnessed the scene which made her very annoyed. But then there was nothing she could do against it since her stepmother didn't like her."I'd like to see what that trash, you call a husband can achieve?" Stephen laughed."You call my husband trash?" Caroline frowned as she stared at her stepbrother."I think you're the trash instead. If not for your rich mother, would you be any better than my husband?""You stay at home all day lazing around and yet you have the mouth to embarrass someone and call them trash. You, you're no better trash. Besides, I'll say that my husband is better than you, he's a lot more responsible than you.""How dare you talk that way to my son?" Rachel yelled as she glared at Caroline.Caroline frowned as she stared at her stepmother. Even though she wanted to say something, she had no other choice but to hold it back."I'm sorry, but I'll have to say, what does your son have that makes him better than my husband, he's even more useless than him." Caroline frowned as she looked at her stepmother."How dare you?" Rachel fumed.Stephen on the other hand was fuming with anger. Caroline had just attacked him and all her attacks were launched at his weak spots so there was no way he was going to refute what she said."Let's go, Harrison," Caroline muttered as she dragged Harrison out of the villa. She just couldn't continue staying in such a suffocated place. It was just not possible, the more she stayed at that place, the angrier she got, so she'd rather leave than lose her temper on a bunch of twerps.

I Am Back Chapter 9
“Miss, get me another bottle!” Eric shouted at the waitress, his eyes rolling around the place dramatically. “Again?” The waitress asked, shock yet concern filled in her voice. “Shut up your trash and do as I command!” Eric barked at her again. “This is my money and you can't tell me what to do and what not to do with my money. Is that understood?” “Yes, sir! I'm sorry,” the waitress replied, her voice sharp with apologies yet respect. “I’m bringing it to you right away.” “Good!” Eric said, nodding his head. In front of him was a table occupied with just a glass and four bottles of beer he had just drunk. After the incident at his workplace, he decided to go to a bar to get himself to ease his frustration. To him, it was the best way to get rid of it. Eric stared at the four empty bottles of beer he had finished drinking. Then he blinked and started to smirk. “They all think I'm a poor person, don't they?” he muttered, his voice thick and slurred. He leaned back on his sea

I Am Back Chapter 8
Eric's hand stopped mid-air, his breath catching. “M–my home? What are you talking about?” He asked, looking confused as he set down the glass without taking a sip.Christopher smiled faintly, taking a seat opposite Eric. “You see, Eric. This is your home and I'm your grandfather—Christopher.”Boom! Eric was shocked. His eyes widened in disbelief. “Y—you’re my grandfather?” A faint smile escaped his lips and he shook his head. “Tell me you're joking, right?”Christopher shook his head, his expression calm and his smile never faltering. “That's the truth, my boy. Weren't you surprised how I got to know your name? That's because I'm a grandfather.”Eric's mind skipped, and fear gripped him almost immediately as something seemed to strike his head. The name sounded familiar and so was his face when he had a closer look. His late parents had made mention of this name to him but it was something not good.Eric forced himself up, moving back to the chair. “Y—you? You're alive?” Christophe

I Am Back Chapter 7
“Eric?” Eric repeated his own name, shocked. He immediately looked up at the old man. Confusion and surprise were written all over his face. “How do you know my name? And who are you?” He asked, still on his knees. Christopher smiled, understanding his curiosity but he said, “Please, stand up first and have a seat. Only when that is done shall we discuss.”Eric was reluctant but at the old man's persistence, he stood up, staring around briefly before looking at the man. He was short of words. “Please, sit down,” Christopher gestured toward the couch.“Sit down?” Eric asked, shaking his head as he glanced at the plush cushion. “No, I'll stand up, I can't afford to buy a new one if I dirty anyone.”Christopher chuckled lightly. “It doesn't matter. If it gets dirty, I'll trash it and get a new one.” His voice was casual as if getting a new cushion as plush as that was the simplest and easiest thing to do. “Please, have a seat and make yourself comfortable, I'll be back.” Without wa

I Am Back Chapter 6
At that same time, the sun rose from the east and shone through the thick, luxurious curtains that hung in an epicurean living room that exuded wealth. The living room was vast, having polished cushions neatly and nicely arranged. Artworks were used to beautify the place. There was a large flat-screen TV that was hung on the wall, and a calm yet alluring movie was on display on the screen. Everything in the room screams wealth and sophistication. On one of the plush cushions lay an unconscious, young, handsome guy around the age of twenty-three, and an elderly man, around the age of eighty, stood tall there, arms crossed, glancing down at the guy.He couldn't say a word. The room was like a graveyard except for the soft ticking of the old wall clock. The old man just stared down, concern and worry evident on his facial expression. “Doc, hope he will be fine?” The old man asked a man who was putting on a white garment. The silence finally broke. It was the family doctor. The do

Eric blinked at the man, refusing to take the letter. “Who are you? I don't know who you are.” He shifted backward, trying to avoid the man's touch. The man smiled faintly, understanding. “You have nothing to fear,” he said, his voice reassuring. “I'm Henry Lucas, your grandfather's right-hand man. He's sent us here to bring you home.” Eric protested, his voice weevil. “I don’t have any parents. How then will I have a grandfather?” He asked, looking skeptical. “Or have you all come here to kidnap me with those expensive cars of yours?”Henry shook his head, chuckling softly. “Oh, no. We aren't here for that, sir,” he said dismissively. “You'll have to come with us so you'll know better.”“Sir?” Eric frowned, unimpressed. “Why are you calling me that?” Henry chuckled lightly. “Like I said, when you come with us you'll get to know more.”Without waiting for another response from Eric, Henry turned to face the crowd that had gathered around Eric, his expression dark. “What were you all
