Prologue

There were ten known starfields, and each of them were ruled by the strongest within them called the Realm Kings. At the summit, was the Overlord who ruled all ten starfields, keeping them in check.

In the starfield called the Titan's Ruins, on planet Thorsus, a Minor lord was in slumber. The Spiritual Qi which should have remained undisturbed in her body vibrated. The talisman she had hoped would remain intact was ripped by someone trying to alert her of trouble.

In the Blenheim palace, the beautiful eyes of the minor lord shot open. They belonged to a woman, who sat in meditation in the deepest darkest room of the castle. She coughed up blood which was the tell tale sign that something had gone wrong with her cultivation. Her eyes darted around the room anxiously before focusing on a far right corner of the room.

Her soft voice broke the silence, "I smell human blood."

"That's not reason enough for you to stop your cultivation. Do you have any idea the level of damage you just caused your body by coming out of slumber?" The voice of a clearly angry man replied to her from the corner of the room.

Without replying to the voice she pressed her palm to the ground using her divine sense to observe  the surrounding areas, an action that made her cough up even more blood.

A dark silhouette slipped from the corner of the room to stand directly in front of her. A deathly pale arm extended from black robes to feed the woman medicine. It then hovered before her chest with a slightly blue glow.

"It'll take years before you recover."

The woman stopped using her divine sense after a few seconds then asked. "Civilians are being killed, what exactly is happening?"

-"I woke up a few seconds before you did. I was about to make a move when you stupidly forced yourself out of slumber. I've warned you so many times about the risks."

"People are dying."

-"I don't give a damn. If you had listened I would be out there helping them as promised,  but instead I'm healing your injuries."

"Go help them, then heal me later."

-"This is retribution for not trusting me. Whoever dies will f*cking die. Neither of us are leaving till your major wounds are healed." The man replied with an icy tone.

The woman bit her lower lip nervously then closed her eyes. She circulated her spiritual qi in an attempt to speed up the process.

"You should be fine now. There's someone heading to the throne room who should have some information on what's happening."

With a wave of the man's hand, they both moved to a grandly decorated throne room. The woman who was fully clothed in black and wore a veil sat on the throne and the figure of the man who stood next to her slowly faded away, becoming one with the darkness.
