Chapter 1
Chapter 01
The sound of commotion could be faintly heard from outside the palace, echoing ever closer. God Megarana, who was sitting on his throne, felt unease creeping into his chest.
"What's going on?" God Megarana rose from his throne, fear suddenly gripping his heart. "Why is it so noisy outside?"
Suddenly, a soldier ran in, panting heavily. "Report, my Lord! Our kingdom is under attack by foreign forces!"
"Foreign forces? What do you mean?"
Before the soldier could answer, another soldier approached with a deathly pale face. "God Megarana, God Mervous has arrived! He... he demands revenge for the Goddess Mother's death," his voice trembled with fear.
"Damn it! Quickly summon the other Gods. God Mervous is in a dangerous state."
God Megarana looked anxious. After all, when God Mervous was in this condition, it meant nothing good was happening.
"Where is he now?" God Megarana asked one of his soldiers.
"He-he's on his way here." The soldier appeared to stammer, showing just how terrified he was at that moment.
God Megarana tried to control himself. He didn't want to show his fear. As the kingdom's ruler, he had to be able to control everything. Whatever happened, he would defend his kingdom. A great war must not break out.
"Has anyone gone to notify the other Gods?"
God Megarana looked increasingly anxious when he saw that none of the troops gathered to defend him had left.
One of them then spoke, bringing calm to God Megarana's restless heart. "The General has already departed. He will notify them all."
Before long, the sound of a tremendous explosion was heard.
BOOM!
The kingdom's gates were destroyed, forced open. God Mervous's true power had now been unleashed, making God Megarana feel even more anxious.
"This is bad! This is bad! He's coming!" one soldier shouted in panic.
God Megarana closed his eyes, trying to draw in the calm energy around him. "Let me speak with him first."
God Megarana stepped away from his throne, hoping to control the situation so nothing unwanted would happen.
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Drop after drop of blood followed the footsteps of a muscular man resembling a Greek god.
His handsome face matched his name—God Mervous.
The figure most feared by anyone in this land. Because when he was angry, there was only vengeance and retribution.
"I swear! I will destroy that murderer! I will annihilate them all!"
The fire of vengeance now blazed within God Mervous. The hard look on his face showed just how full of rage he was at that moment.
"Forgive me, my Goddess. I failed to protect you. I failed to be your eternal lover. I swear, I will avenge every drop of your blood on that murderer!"
Now, God Mervous had arrived at the palace—the place where the figure who had killed his beloved resided.
One of his hands was clenched tightly, showing how great the anger filling his chest was.
"GOD MEGARANA! COME OUT!"
God Mervous's shout thundered.
He knew someone heard his cry. But they deliberately ignored his warning because the soldiers would try to protect their master's safety.
Without thinking twice, God Mervous immediately struck the closed gate guarded by dozens of soldiers.
His power grew greater as his rage intensified.
He didn't care about the dozens of soldiers lying on the floor, crushed by the gate's rubble.
"GOD MEGARANA! COME OUT!" God Mervous shouted again with all his might.
Just as God Mervous stood at the kingdom's entrance, a man came with powerful steps.
"Oh... God Mervous? You've come? What an honor for you to visit my kingdom." God Megarana smiled with an innocent face.
God Mervous grew more disgusted. "I don't need your pleasantries. Enough of that cheap charade!"
God Mervous's anger intensified further. Moreover, God Megarana now wore a face as if he knew nothing.
"Calm down, God Mervous. I truly don't know the reason for your visit. Come, we can discuss everything in a private room." God Megarana invited, about to lead the way.
God Mervous, increasingly disgusted with God Megarana's innocent face, threw the dagger he was carrying.
Whoosh!
The dagger pierced right through the neck of one of the soldiers protecting his master.
"What are you doing, God Mervous!" shouted God Megarana, unwilling to let his soldier be killed.
"Stop that act! I'm here to avenge everything. A life must be paid with a life!" God Mervous declared firmly.
God Megarana was anxious. He sensed the atmosphere in his kingdom was no longer conducive. God Mervous's arrival with uncontrolled rage clearly made everyone's hearts feel uneasy.
"What do you mean, God Mervous? Whose life are you referring to?"
God Megarana wouldn't confess. God Mervous grew angrier.
"I know you killed my beloved, Goddess Mother. And... now I've come to avenge the death you caused her."
WHOOSH!
God Mervous raised his hand, directing a fireball attack toward God Megarana.
"DESTROY THEM ALL!"
God Mervous raised his hand, thousands of troops previously reinforced by an invisible portal now appeared.
A great battle could no longer be avoided. God Mervous in his rage continued to release fireballs, hurling them at the soldiers trying to protect God Megarana.
He then raised one of his hands, his mighty crossbow seemingly appearing in his hand. As he pulled the bowstring, a flaming arrow appeared to launch.
The flaming arrow, when released, seemed to contain thousands of other arrows. All of God Megarana's soldiers were killed instantly.
God Mervous grinned. Finding God Megarana left alone.
WHOOSH!
God Megarana released his power—easy for God Mervous to evade.
"Your power... won't work on me," God Mervous sneered.
Now, it was God Mervous's turn to counterattack. God Megarana almost got hit by God Mervous's fire attack.
"You think I'm that weak? I never wanted to start a war with you. But you're the one who started all this. I will welcome this war!"
God Megarana spoke loudly.
God Mervous's grin widened. This was what he'd been waiting for.
WHOOSH! CRASH! BLAST!
Various types of attacks appeared to be launched by God Mervous. In rage that kept remembering how he lost his beloved forever, God Mervous lost control.
God Megarana's death—that was God Mervous's sole purpose now.
The relentless attacks delivered by God Mervous overwhelmed God Megarana. He struggled to face God Mervous's power, which felt so tremendous.
"Prepare to meet your doom, God Megarana! Because I will be the angel of death taking your life today."
God Mervous spoke firmly. God Megarana's exhausted, labored breathing made God Mervous unwilling to waste the opportunity.
He then raised one of his hands. The sky that had appeared blue instantly turned dark.
The sound of lightning striking together with rows of thunder appearing in the sky became the climax of all the emotions enveloping God Mervous.
A sharp grin etched at the corner of God Mervous's lips.
"Afraid? Do you have any last words? Confess, but it won't change anything."
God Megarana looked at God Mervous with bated breath. "I didn't do it!" God Megarana tried to convince him.
God Mervous grew more disgusted. It was clear that God Megarana had done it and it was witnessed by God Mervous's closest people, yet he still denied it.
"No criminal will admit his crime. Farewell to your life, God Megarana. Thank me for being the angel of death taking your life!"
God Mervous raised his hand higher, a large orb appeared ready to be directed at God Megarana. Before finally...
BOOOOM!
A tremendous explosion was heard. God Mervous fell. A great light suddenly came along with a fierce wind that swept through the place.

Reborn As A Slave: The Fallen God's Revenge Chapter 13
Libradon had never visited Teresa's room without a clear reason. Not because he lacked the right, this was his palace, every corner and every room belonged to him, including the room he had allowed Teresa to occupy since many years ago. But there was an unwritten boundary between them that had formed not from rules, but from a habit maintained so long it had come to feel like an agreement. Teresa did not enter his study without an invitation. He did not enter her room without a purpose that could be stated plainly. This morning, he broke that.He walked along the corridor of the east wing with steps he kept looking unhurried, not rushed, not like someone who had been thinking about this since before dawn and had only found sufficient reason somewhere between his first sips of wine. Two guards followed behind at a comfortable distance. As usual. As though this were a visit he had not planned at all.Libradon stopped before Teresa's door.Through the wood that had not been fully shut, h

Reborn As A Slave: The Fallen God's Revenge Chapter 12
That morning, for the first time since he had woken in this room, God Mervous tried to sit up.Not because he felt sufficiently recovered. Far from it. This body still felt like ruins that had not yet finished collapsing, every small movement reminding him of wounds that had not closed, every deep breath feeling as though something was gripping from inside his ribs and refusing to let go. But lying still without doing anything was beginning to feel more torturous than the pain itself. He had spent too long on his back staring at the ceiling, letting his thoughts circle the same place without going anywhere.*Enough.* He pushed his body slowly upward, bracing on his right elbow. The muscles along his back protested immediately, a sharp pulse radiating from his left shoulder down beneath his shoulder blade, making him stop for several seconds, waiting for the sensation to ease slightly before continuing. Finally he managed to sit upright, his back resting against the cold wall behind th

Reborn As A Slave: The Fallen God's Revenge Chapter 11
Something felt different to Libradon. Not because there was a war threatening at the border, not because there was a disappointing tax report from his ministers, and not because the wine in his cup tasted more bitter than usual. What was different was only one thing, Teresa had not appeared.Libradon had been seated on his throne since morning, working through a series of tedious audiences, noblemen with their grievances, merchants with their petitions, guards with their routine reports. All of them came and went like waves that never truly caught his attention. And throughout all of it, the chair to his right, the chair that Teresa usually occupied, was empty.Libradon did not acknowledge that he noticed this. He would never acknowledge it, not even to himself. But his eyes kept returning there, to that empty chair, in a way that irritated him further each time he caught himself doing it."Your Majesty."One of his ministers was speaking. Libradon redirected his gaze to the front wit

Reborn As A Slave: The Fallen God's Revenge Chapter 10
Edrick could not sleep. For three nights in a row he had lain on the thin straw that served as his bed, staring at the same stone ceiling, listening to the snores of other slaves who had long since made their peace with exhaustion, and his eyes would not close. His thoughts always returned to the same place.Kayrus.Edrick turned onto his side, facing the wall. The wounds on his back still stung when the rough fabric shifted against his skin, but the pain no longer felt important. There was something heavier than a physical wound that he carried with him wherever he went. The guilt never left.It only grew larger with each passing day, spreading quietly like roots splitting through stone, finding every gap inside a chest that was already too tired. He was the one who had brought Kayrus to that cave. He was the one who had followed information that turned out to be wrong. He was the one who had been foolish enough to trust rumors he had picked up from a corner of the dining hall, from
