Herbert Halloway touched down in Badagry the suburb of Lagos. He had never been there before. He followed the route given to him by Jessica and touched down with the few men he left Mushin with. The spy he had chosen to keep an eye on the place and Jessica also came with him and he had began to inspect every corner when Herbert Halloway entered.
“Welcome, Chief,” Jessica said.
“Thank you,” Herbert Halloway kept nodding his head and seemed to have been impressed by what he saw.
The group of men he saw while entering shows the establishment which was being ran by Jessica but hadn’t known what she was really into. She thought she was also into drug because Cynthia chose to keep it away from him.
Jessica noticed the way she was looking around with smile. She thought of leading the way to the reception where they could seat and talk better.
“I guess you love what you are seeing,” Jessica said.
“Of course. By the way, what do you do here. As in, what’s it meant for? What are you into because I asked Cynthia when she came to Mushin and she didn’t tell me.”
“Well, I am certain she would have tell what she is into. We are running the company together but each of us is incharge of different department. Here is where the men that we used for diverse operation were being trained before being deployed for use,” Jessica said.
Herbert Halloway was wowed when he heard it. It was a perfect way and it would be difficult for the police to have their hands on them. Herbert Halloway’s workers were usually supplied by his cabinets who he did pay a huge amount of money at the end of the month. The few men he did use personally were usually supplied by the Lagos Lout head and some from the confraternity where he belonged.
Jessica was about to lead the way to the guest reception but Herbert Halloway curious psyche still have something lookin around for.
“Where are the men usually trained?” He asked.
“Ok. Let me take you there.”
Jessica led the way to the training ground. Herbert Halloway was also planning about going into affiliation with them having been impressed with what he had seen so far. Their organization seemed to be firmed and with the backing of the politicians which they also have unlike his cabinet, he did feel safe. He thought of discussing it with them but still thinking of the perfect way to disclose it to her.
All the conversations were being recorded by Jessica. He deployed Cynthia’s method as they were being ordered by Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton. Herbert Halloway couldn’t believe his eyes when he entered the building and saw a group of men assembled and being trained.
“Wow. You ladies are incredible. I can’t wait to visit other ladies to see what their establishment looks like,” he said.
“I am certain you like what you are seeing.”
“Of course. Seeing you ladies from the first day with the class you ladies oozed. I am entertained.”
Herbert Halloway couldn’t take his eyes off the men. He felt his own establishment needed to be upgraded and the need to affiliate with the ladies which would bring more security to her business with few interruptions. Everything that had inundated his psyche at that moment was a ploy to win their heart.
“Can we go to the guest reception so we can get to seat, eat, drink and talk better?” Jessica asked.
It took a while before Jessica’s statement processed in his psyche. Jessica stood beside him with her two hands clasped together.
“Yes. Let’s go.”
Jessica led the way yet his eyes couldn’t be taken off as the men were being instructed and trained on diverse defensive method. Herbert Halloway felt his men were superior and needed to advance his organization.
When they touched down at the guest reception, they sat down and were being served. Different kinda food was served before them, Herbert Halloway’s psyche wasn’t in the environment at that moment as he had begun diverse calculations. Jessica noticed especially with the way he was eating.
“Are you okay?”
He came back to life forthwith.
“Yes. Something came to my mind that’s why.”
Herbert Halloway grabbed the alcohol and filled the cup to brim. He began gulping it into his oesophagus. He had wanted to know what they were into and saw the need to ask Jessica about other ladies.
“What about Alice, Sophia and Agnes?”
Jessica thought he was asking about their well being. He had asked before and was surprised when he asked again.
“Well, they are fine,” she answered reluctantly.
“I mean. Just like you. What they are into?”
“Oh! Alice is the one who supplies weapon. Sophia is the account general. She is a graduate of accounting and had a lot of knowledge, she had connections to bank managers and a lot of transactions were being wired without traces. She is incharge of that. Agnes produces the hard drugs that are made in Nigeria. They all have their establishment and it would be interesting if you will visit to take a look yourself.”
Herbert Halloway was more than impressed. He hadn’t seen it but had been imagining how organized it would look like. He had always thought he ran the best trafficking business in the state until she met the five super ladies as he had thought to be referring to them in his psyche.
“I can’t wait to visit and take a look at what they also establish. I am proud of you ladies.”
“So how is your own empire?”
“Well, I don’t know if I have told you before. I am into hard drug trafficking. We are in the same line of business. Ehm, I think we are brought together for a reason and we gonna work together. I am sure of that. And you all aren’t married?”
