killing the Leviathan

They came back from hunting, all the men looked angry except for Kayden who was relieved that no animal had been killed in front of him.

"I just don't get it, why didn't we catch a single animal?" Aidan questioned.

"Maybe today is not a good day, my lord." Kayden told him.

Aidan looked at him suspiciously, "or maybe you had something to do with it."

Kayden's heart skipped a beat, had Aidan caught him earlier using magic? but he had tried to be careful back then.

"Me?" he asked trying not to let his nervousness show.

"Yes, you."

"How my lord?"

"You are too loud, your breathing must have scared off the animals."

Kayden breathed in relief, "I will try to be more careful next time, my lord."

Aidan scoffed and rode off to the stable.

Darius rode up to Kayden. "You sly little thing. Aidan will have your head if he ever finds out what you did."

Kayden smiled at him cheekily, "It's a good thing I was very careful."

Darius shook his head at him. "See you later tonight." he said.
