The mark

At this point in time, Neither Neil nor Adele knew how thoroughly their leisurely life was going to change.

Neil backed off from the black hole on the ground emitting dark lightning all around as fast as possible.

Yet, he was not fast enough.

The light hit his ankle.

There was no pain during the moment he was struck.

One moment he had a foot.

The next moment he had none, save for the extremely neat cut, with flowing blood falling down to form bloody pearls.

Yes, it was so cold that even the gushing blood would freeze into an icicle as it bled out.

Adele felt the mana drain before Neil even felt his feet missing.

The sith noticed he stumbled.

It gathered three balls in between his hands.

Neil could tell they were different without even his senses.

After all, in game, when a skill is combined, it’s synergy increases it’s attack power.

Right now, the black orbs of void energy are bigger than the peanut sized balls the Sith shot at the very beginning.

They are golf ball size
