CHAPTER 28 I GOT ALL PLANNED OUT

When Vandread clarified himself by saying, "You heard me right, I won't kill you," his voice became less agitated.

The dimensional sentinel had a hard time believing what Vandread said because it was such an outlandish claim. He had been involved in a great number of conflicts, wars, and battles, and he never once, not even by chance, saw an adversary show mercy for the lives of their opponents.

And yet, Vandread made it sound as though it was no big deal for him to restrain himself from exacting his full revenge for what the sentinel had done to him. Simply that prompted the sentinel to ponder the various explanations for the occurrence. However, no matter how hard he tried to understand what could possibly be going on in Vandread's mind, he was unable to simply comprehend it.
