[Initiating Eternal Equations: 1/3]
[Equation 1: TimeTailor] [Confirm execution: Y/N] The scientist could have kissed Aegis on the lips if it were a human. "You finished the task just in time, old friend. You never disappoint. Confirmed! Begin execution!" [Set Time Speed: x01, x0.5, x0.25, x0.1] TimeTailor was one of the three eternal God Formula equations that Griffin had worked on for decades. Controlling the speed of time was deemed impossible, but not for Aegis, which could replicate the creator's power. Eternal Equations did not require mana to execute, but could be used only once by an advanced user. Griffin needed to make it count. "One-fourth the speed of time should give me enough to keep Dagon in check and roll out my plan. Let's go for x0.25." [Equation 1: TimeTailor: 0,25] [Activated!] Abruptly, everything slowed down. The progress of Dagon's downward plunge was also affected. In fact, the entire world seemed to have caught its breath. It was only Griffin's thoughts that TimeTailor didn't manipulate, because Aegis synthetically accelerated them. The scientist took a deep breath. "At least I could relax for a second. Okay, now let's execute the second equation." [Equation II: FutureTell] [Set Search Range and Search Object] "Set the search range to 1000 years. The search object will be—the chosen one." FutureTell, the second eternal equation, allowed the user to see into the future. It was another impossible thing made possible by Aegis's god-like abilities. Griffin's HUD suddenly faded into black. All sounds ceased. A showcase of images appeared in his vision, arranged year-wise. The scientist rooted through the gallery with his fingers. When he was done, he smiled bitterly. "So there you are, chosen one. You'll inherit God Formula from me. And oops. That's how everything is going to turn out for you. I don't know whether I should call it a blessing or a calamity. Well, so be it. Now I have seen the future." Griffin's ultimate wish was to see how the universe would turn out after the chosen one accepted his responsibility. After the last image appeared, the showcase would not scroll further. [Error!] [Cataclysmic Event!] [Prediction Failure!] Griffin clicked his tongue. "Ah, so something so epic and tragic happens at this point that even Aegis cannot see through the uncertainty. That's sad. Anyway, I got what I was looking for." His HUD blinked to normal. Now, Griffin was about to execute the final eternal equation that would provide the chosen one with all the memories and skills needed to master Aegis and God Formula. Crack! Griffin heard a disturbance above him. Dagon was still suspended in slow motion. However, he seemed to resist the effects of TimeTailor. "How is that possible? Nothing can overpower an eternal equation! It is woven through the creator's power!" The answer came to him immediately. "It's that damned Zweihander!" Griffin cursed. "Its god-killing attributes are unraveling the TimeTailor equation!" Griffin realized his plan had failed. Now, he had to make haste to salvage whatever was possible. [Equation 3: XReincarnate] This time, his HUD disappeared completely. A 360° virtual view came up. [Welcome to Aegis XReincarnate] [Transferring Aegis Source Code to Chosen One] [Warning!] [Chosen One shall experience amnesia!] [Warning!] [Chosen One may not possess boosted stats] Crack! Dagon had sped up enough to come within proximity of Griffin. TimeTailor still bogged him down, but the tip of his sword was around six feet away from Griffin. A spark of dark energy from the greatsword connected with Aegis, causing a malfunction. [TimeTailor: Deactivated!] "Noooo!" Griffin roared, realizing that the third eternal equation was still being executed. The scientist sighed as his life flashed before his eyes. He had led a lonely life without a family and with a few work friends. In the end, his most outstanding achievement —the Aegis AI — had somehow malfunctioned. Was it worth it? What had been the meaning of his life? Crack! Dagon was freed from TimeTailor, and a moment later, his greatsword plunged into Griffin's body. This time, the adamantine armor gave in. It cracked like an eggshell as the blade impaled Griffin. "Die, mortal! Die!" Dagon howled as they plummeted downwards together like meteors. "Let your unholy Aegis and God Formula die with you!" "Aaarghh!" With a mighty splash, the two titans fell into the ocean. The impact of Zweihander dented the water surface and sent pillars of steam and surf into the sky. A hovering satellite caught the astronomical event from space. Moments before Griffin lost his consciousness, Aegis blinked a final notification. [Equation III] [XReincarnate] [Successful!] "Good luck, Noah," Griffin breathed before being blown into nothing. An unseen, unfelt, undetected wave radiated out in the universe. Destiny had been changed. An ancient sleeping entity stirred in its sleep. Millions of miles away, prophets and seers of different worlds had terrible, horrifying visions.Latest Chapter
69 Where is my Girlfriend?
Noah ran like the wind. There was only one thing on his mind. The love of his life, Eve. The nightmare about King Jorm taking her away haunted him all the time. What if the nightmare was a premonition for these events? What if another god class abducted her or, worse, killed her? Noah could not imagine where his mind would go if such a thing happened.Of course, he cared about other people, including his best friend, Piper, and his Trinity girls, Skylar and Alice. He also did not want Jack Chrysalis and Providence members to die. However, he'd be shattered if something were to happen to Eve.Noah passed by Bridge 2's exit but did not even pause to look into the passage. He soldiered on and, in a few minutes, reached Bridge 3. A small group of players was gathered there."Oh, thank God!" Noah said in relief. "You guys are alright! What happened?"Captain Edmund spoke up. "Crazy things happened, Lovelord. We encountered an entire army of dark elves. Along with them were a few overpowere
68 Holly the Angel Assistant
"Why did you advise me to take this bridge alone?" Noah asked Holly as soon as he was out of earshot of the others. Holly was one of the five rewards he received for reaching Level 100. She was an A.I. Angel Assistant linked to him through the Trinity Network. [ ANGEL ASSISTANT ]A ball of light blinked over Noah's head. It gradually turned into a creature and unfurled like a cocoon of light. Holly emerged smiling. She was a miniature human shape with translucent wings. She looked like a tiny fairy from high fantasy books, Tinkerbell, to be exact. "Hi, Noah! Thanks for summoning me. I shall help you in your journey to becoming a god!" Noah raised an eyebrow. "Eh, we'll get to that later," he replied. "Tell me why you asked me to come by myself on this bridge. Do you know which of the three leads to where?" Indeed, it was Holly who gave the suggestion. Since she was his Angel Assistant, only Noah could hear her when she was invisible. The Ace had blindly followed her on a whim. "I
67 Eve vs God
"Eve!" Alexa exclaimed. "Did Edmund get our call for help?""Where are the rest?" Piper asked, straining his eyes to see beyond the fog.Eve shook her head. "They have their own big fish to fry. The Commander is facing an army of dark elves, most likely led by another special class.""Oh," Skylar replied. "Then he should not have spared you. We could have handled this situation.""Oh really? The situation doesn't look handled."The girls giggled nervously. "Someone, give me a rundown."Blade spoke up. "What you see is a special class cavern demon called the Jokesmith. I think centuries of evolution have metamorphosed a mindless monster into a sentient god class. Its intelligence and raw power are off the charts, comparable to the Gandrgator King before evolution. Armors, shields, and magical attacks mean nothing to him in battle. Our last resort, the anti matter gun, barely gave him a burn. I don't know how we are going to fight this force of nature!"Eve nodded and tightened her gras
66 The Jokesmith
[ Species: Cavern Demon ][ Jokesmith: Level 75 ][ HP: 100000 ][ MP: 100000 ][ Skills: Unknown ]The monster before them was hideous to look at. It was a nine feet tall humanoid with a long face. It had enormous eyes and a gnarled set of fangs that looked more like bristles than teeth. The creature stood straight like a human but had a hunch on its back which slightly tipped its torso forward. The Jokesmith’s uncanny face looked like it was grinning. It had no clothes on, but its skin was thick, striped in red and black. Blood and viscera dripped from around its humongous mouth. The entire look gave it the appearance of a nightmarish clown.“Do you like what you see?” the Jokesmith asked Piper. The cyborg’s teeth chattered, and he pissed his pants. The monster was exuding such a dark aura that everyone around him was terrified beyond imagination.Blade was more acquainted with horrifying monsters as compared to

Alexa walked briskly ahead of the others on the team. Her muscles were tense, and she spat every now and then in anger. Her fingers twitched, generating fire sparks."She looks like a ticking bomb. Shouldn't somebody go and talk to her?" Skylar suggested to the rest of the group."Let her be, kid." Blade offered, shaking his head. "I know her better than most. Alexa and I went to training together, you see? She was this popular, cheerful girl who fell in love with one of our batchmates, Dom Faust. They were like prom queen and king.""What does that have to do with her present mood?""You see… Alexa and Dom were posted to Goldibad after we graduated.""Oh? Were they teammates? Where is Dom now?"Blade sighed. "They ran a campaign against a hybrid space pirates gang called the MANEATERS. One of their double agents betrayed them. He had them walk into a trap laid by the pirates."Skylar raised her eyebrows. "What happened?""The entire squad was wip
64 Bow to the King
"They are called 'the nameless four' among our enemies," Argulus introduced his Generals. "They are undefeated in battle. You will find my generals more powerful than my entire army combined."The four warrior dark elves cackled to endorse their King's words. They walked gradually forward, producing swords that looked like bones."That's a tall claim! Hope your warriors can handle our attacks!" Titan fired back."Your fancy swords will falter in front of the spines of my ancestors," Argulus called out.[ Incoming ][ Species: Dark Elf ][ Dark Elf General: Level 50 ]"What do we do, Commander?" Titan asked Edmund nervously. Even though adrenaline made him act fearless, he was anxious about the level 50 monsters."What other choice do we have?" Edmund replied. "We have to protect Elektra until she is ready." "I am down with that, sir!"The Commander turned to Alice. "If any attacks from their side are aimed at Elektra, it's your job to deflect them.""Understood, sir!"She had already
