When Matthew's business suffers a huge setback that threatens to run him into bankruptcy, he is forced into a marriage union with the bipolar Erica Rochelle. However, while they are married Matthew finds himself falling for her. But Erica does not share the same thoughts, she mal-treats him at any given opportunity but like a fool he remains loyal to her. Erica's mother Diana pushes him for a divorce but Matthew does not give in. When he catches his wife in bed with another man he signs the agreement in a heartbeat but that does not stop Diana from wrecking his business a second time, she leaves him penniless with no other option than to throw himself off the river. While visiting the bar for one last drink Matthew encounters an interesting woman and the solutions to his problems lie with her.
