Kai Osei was scanning groceries when the world glitched. One second his coworker Renata was smiling at him; the next, her face split into gray static and fell apart like broken glass. Reality is corrupting — buildings, streets, people, all dissolving into "Static," a virus in the code of the world itself. And somehow, Kai is the only one who can see the system behind it: a pale blue panel offering him the one thing nobody else has. The ability to patch it. But Kai isn't the only Admin left standing. Zhaevrik Dornavel discovers a system that grants rewards for recycling. As he cleans the toxic slums, he realizes his ability extends to buildings and monsters, allowing him to forge a new city from the ruins.
