Chapter 01
"Run, Kael! Don't look back!"
His mother's scream was drowned out by the thunderous crash of wooden ruins. Kael tumbled, hot dust and ash filling his lungs. The morning sky, which should have been a clear blue, was now covered by a thick black curtain. Eldara Village, where he had lived for eighteen years, had turned into a massive furnace in a matter of minutes.
Kael coughed, trying to stand while wiping his stinging eyes. In front of him, a giant shadow moved behind the smog. The creature was nearly ten feet tall, with black scaly skin that looked like cold charcoal and glowing red eyes that radiated pure hatred. Xarath. The monster growled, the sound coming from its throat sounding like the scraping of sharp stones.
"Is this all?" Xarath's voice was heavy and raspy. "Another village destroyed, and I still haven't felt that vibration."
Kael saw his mother, Mara, trapped under a burning wooden beam. Her face was pale, blood flowing from her temple. As Xarath's eyes shifted to the helpless woman, Kael's heart pounded wildly, hitting his ribs like an irregular war drum.
"Mother!" Kael screamed, his voice hoarse. He charged forward, but Xarath only needed one swing of his claws to knock the young man back to the ground.
"Don't touch her!" Kael crawled, his fingers gripping the hot earth. The fear that had initially frozen his veins now began to boil, turning into something foreign. There was an intense pressure in his chest, as if a small sun had just exploded inside his heart.
Xarath approached Mara, raising his long claws that shimmered with the reflection of the fire. "Weak creatures like you only deserve to be ash."
No. Not again.
Kael felt an incredible heat spreading from his spine to his palms. It wasn't the heat from the fire burning the village, but a heat that came from within himself. The veins in his arms seemed to glow golden beneath his skin. His vision suddenly became sharp; every spark of fire around him seemed to move in slow motion.
"I said... get away from her!"
The explosion didn't come from the sky. It erupted right from the center of Kael's palms. A pillar of pure fire, a blinding golden-orange, shot forward with a roar louder than a storm. That fire wasn't just heat; it had weight and a will of its own.
Xarath was caught off guard. The monster General raised his arms to parry, but the force of the explosion was so massive that it threw his giant body back ten meters, crashing into the village well until it shattered into pieces.
A sudden silence fell, interrupted only by the sound of wood crackling as it was consumed by fire. Kael knelt, gasping for breath. He looked at his hands. There were no burns, but a thin steam rose from his skin. His palms still felt like they were throbbing, as if an electric current were flowing through them.
"Kael...?" his mother's voice sounded weak, filled with fear and wonder.
Kael didn't answer. He stared at his hands in horror. What did I just do? He had always felt different, always felt a suppressed energy behind his calm demeanor, but he never expected to release something that powerful. He was no longer just a village boy who chopped firewood.
Xarath rose from the ruins of the well. Some of his charcoal skin was peeling off, revealing red flesh that hissed from the extreme temperature of Kael's fire. The General no longer looked dismissive. There was a faint, terrifying grin on his monstrous face.
"So, you're the one," Xarath whispered, his eyes gleaming with obsession. "That fire... the Conqueror's fire. Finally, I've found you."
Xarath spat to the side, black steam escaping his mouth. He seemed to want to attack again, but he paused for a moment, glancing toward the river flowing at the village border. It seemed the wound Kael had inflicted was deeper than it appeared. The monster realized that in this condition, he couldn't take any further risks if that fire exploded again.
"Enjoy your last moments as a human, boy," Xarath threatened as he stepped back. "Because starting today, all of darkness will hunt for your life."
With one powerful leap, Xarath sped away, charging through the flames toward the river. His movement was so fast that it only left a trail of black dust before he disappeared behind the thicket of the forest, which was also beginning to burn.
Kael tried to stand, but his legs felt like jelly. All his energy had been completely drained in that one attack. He crawled toward his mother, his hands still shaking violently. The golden light in his veins slowly faded, leaving behind a piercing cold.
"Mother, are you okay?" Kael tried to lift the wooden beam pinning his mother's leg. With what little strength he had left, he managed to shift the wood.
Mara looked at her son as if she were seeing a stranger. There was gratitude in her eyes, but behind it, there was a deep fear. "Your hands, Kael... what happened to you?"
Kael could only shake his head. Tears began to flow down his soot-stained cheeks. He looked around him—destroyed houses, dead livestock, and the screams of surviving villagers in the distance. His peaceful life was over. The world he knew had collapsed, and in the midst of those ruins, he had just awakened something that should have remained buried.
He felt as if eyes were watching him from every corner of the forest's darkness. Xarath's warning kept ringing in his ears. He was no longer Kael the villager. He was something else, something sought by the monsters of the darkness.
The wind blew hard, carrying the scent of sulfur and death. Kael hugged his mother tightly, while his hands again emitted small sparks of fire that he could not control. He knew this was just the beginning of a true hell.
In the distance, from behind the lush trees, a pair of wise old eyes watched the young man with a look of concern. The figure stood still, holding a wooden staff with a slightly charred tip. He saw great potential, but also unimaginable destruction.
Kael continued to tremble, the fear of himself beginning to creep deeper into his mind than his fear of Xarath. He had a fire inside him, and he didn't know how to put it out.

Kael: Rise of The Fire Heir Chapter 37.
Chapter 37 – The Torn VeilA suffocating silence filled the ruin’s great hall.Only their heavy breathing could be heard, clashing with the pounding of Kael’s heartbeat in his ears. The young archaeologist lay unconscious on the ground, his body rigid, his face drained of color. The stone monolith had gone dark once more, its ancient carvings no longer glowing—making the terrifying whisper from moments ago feel almost like an illusion. But in Kael’s mind, the voice still echoed, sharp and unmistakable:*“The final flame has been extinguished… now, the awakening of nothingness begins. This gate… is only the beginning.”*The words pierced him like ice, freezing his very soul. The final flame. Was it truly about him? He knelt beside the young archaeologist, checking his pulse.“He’s unconscious,

Kael: Rise of The Fire Heir Chapter 36.
Chapter 36 – Traces at the ThresholdThe morning air was crisp, carrying the scent of dew and damp earth from the forests beyond the City of Hope. Kael, Jax, and Lyra rode northward, leaving behind the city gates that now stood strong and welcoming. Towering trees lined the path, which gradually gave way to a rougher trail of stone and gravel—clear signs they were moving farther from the newly rebuilt civilization.Lyra led at the front, her sharp eyes scanning every footprint in the soil, every subtle movement among the leaves. Jax rode beside Kael, his longsword shifting slightly in its sheath—a quiet signal of the vigilance that never left a commander. Kael took a deep breath. This journey felt… strange. It had been a long time since he had walked forest paths like this, far from the hum of conferences and reconstruction efforts. Once, every step in the wild had meant preparation for battle, every gust of wind a whisper of danger. Now, he was simply a guardian of peace conducting a

Kael: Rise of The Fire Heir Chapter 35.
Chapter 35 – Echoes of the Past, Whispers of the FutureThe afternoon sun cast a gentle warmth over the City of Hope. The central plaza buzzed with lively celebration. Brightly colored banners fluttered in the air, adorned with the emblems of various tribes and cities now united under the banner of peace.Kael, dressed in his simple gray robe, stood among the crowd, watching with a faint smile. Beside him, Jax—now in a more formal yet still practical commander’s uniform—nodded occasionally as he spoke with a delegate from a coastal city. On the other side of the plaza, Lyra, with her signature explorer’s pack, was deep in discussion with a botanist, likely exchanging ideas about newly discovered species in recently mapped regions. This event marked three years since peace had returned—a moment to honor past sacrifices and celebrate the future they had built together.Kael felt at ease. The weight that once pressed heavily on his chest had lifted, replaced by a deep, steady peace. He w

His violet eyes burned with fury, and the crystal embedded in his chest pulsed like a dying heart.Kael knew this battle was different. Without fire, he was nothing more than an ordinary man facing the manifestation of nothingness. Yet in his mind, his Master’s voice echoed: A hero is not defined by power, but by will. That resolve hardened within him—stronger than steel.“No!” Kael shouted, leaping backward to avoid the incoming wave of Void energy. The stench of ozone and death filled the cave. Lyra immediately fired an arrow, but it disintegrated into dust the moment it touched the Void Speaker’s aura.“Damn it!” Lyra cursed. “We can’t even touch him!”“He’s protected by a powerful Void shield,” Jax added, his sword bouncing off the invisible barrier surrounding the cult leader. “It’s like fighting a minia
