The heavens once trembled beneath the authority of the Third Celestial Sovereign, Mo Tianyu—a god who governed fate itself. Yet envy breeds betrayal. Coveting his unparalleled power and the legendary Origin Divine Blood, the other Celestial Sovereigns shattered his soul and cast him into an endless cycle of mortal reincarnations. Across eleven lifetimes, he endured poverty, loss, humiliation, and death, unaware that every tragedy was part of an ancient curse meant to erase him forever. In his eleventh life, while wandering the world as a starving beggar, Mo Tianyu stumbles upon the Primordial Spirit Crystal. The instant his blood touches its surface, the seals on his soul are destroyed. Memories of immortal wars, heavenly palaces, forbidden techniques, and the conspiracy that stole his throne come rushing back. Hunted by the Heavenly Court before he can regain his former strength, Mo Tianyu begins a perilous journey across mortal and immortal realms. Each impossible trial awakens new powers within his evolving divine bloodline, bringing him one step closer to reclaiming the Celestial Throne. But the deeper he uncovers the truth, the more he realizes the betrayal was only the beginning of a far greater threat. To reclaim Heaven, he must first survive it.

Chapter 1: The Beggar Cursed by Heaven

Pain arrived before hunger. Mo Tianyu's fingers had barely brushed the dust-covered meat bun when a heavy leather boot came crashing down onto his hand. A sickening crack echoed across the stone street. Bones ground against stone. His breath caught in his throat.

The meat bun rolled away, disappearing beneath the wheels of a passing carriage. Laughter erupted."Even dogs wait for permission before eating."

The young nobleman pressed his boot harder, twisting the sole until fresh blood seeped between Mo Tianyu's trembling fingers. Dressed in embroidered jade robes that glittered beneath the afternoon sun, the youth looked no older than eighteen. A jade pendant shaped like a soaring phoenix rested proudly against his chest, marking him as a member of one of Azure Cloud City's influential merchant families.

His name was Zhao Ming. He enjoyed making spectacles of the unfortunate. Today, Mo Tianyu had become his entertainment."You filthy beggar," Zhao Ming sneered. "Did you really think food meant for people belongs to vermin like you?"

Mo Tianyu lowered his gaze. He neither pleaded nor argued. Years ago, he had learned that dignity was a luxury reserved for those with power. Powerless men survived by remaining silent.

The bustling streets of Azure Cloud City overflowed with excitement. Crimson lanterns hung from every rooftop, while colourful silk banners danced in the breeze. Incense drifted through the air as families crowded around shrines, offering prayers beneath enormous golden statues of immortal cultivators.

Today marked the annual Spirit Festival. It was a celebration honouring the blessings of Heaven. Cultivators displayed dazzling techniques before cheering crowds. Children laughed as spiritual beasts performed tricks in the plaza. Musicians played joyful melodies while merchants shouted over one another, selling everything from enchanted talismans to glowing spirit herbs.

To almost everyone present, it was a day of blessings. To Mo Tianyu..It was merely another day of hunger. He had not eaten for three days. His stomach had long since stopped growling. Now it simply ached with a cold, empty numbness.

A woman carrying a basket wrinkled her nose."Disgusting."She tossed a rotten cabbage that struck his shoulder. Others quickly followed. Wilted vegetables.Spoiled fruit.Clumps of mud. Someone spat near his face."Stay away from the shrine! Don't let him pollute today's blessings!  He'll bring bad luck!"

The insults blended until they became nothing more than meaningless noise. Mo Tianyu remained kneeling. Not because he lacked pride. Because experience had taught him a cruel truth. Fighting back only made the beatings worse.

He slowly pulled his crushed hand free. Blood dripped steadily onto the white stone pavement. His fingers trembled violently. One of them bent at an unnatural angle. Nearby, a little girl tugged gently on her mother's sleeve."Mother..."

Her innocent eyes remained fixed upon the bloodied young man."Why does Heaven hate him?"The question silenced those close enough to hear. The mother glanced briefly toward Mo Tianyu before turning away."Because some people are born cursed."

Her voice carried no hatred. Only certainty."As long as you stay away from people like him, Heaven will continue protecting us."The little girl nodded obediently. Mo Tianyu's body remained still. Yet those simple words hurt more than the broken bones. Born cursed...

He had heard those words countless times. Perhaps they were true. He had never known his parents. The villagers who raised him died when the plague swept through their homes. The farmer who later offered him work lost his entire harvest after hiring him. Bandits attacked every caravan that accepted him.

Even wandering sects rejected him after mysterious accidents repeatedly followed in his wake. It was almost as though misfortune itself clung to his shadow.

Sometimes..Even he wondered if Heaven truly despised him. Zhao Ming finally lifted his boot."Clean this blood before someone important steps in it."The nobleman laughed before tossing a copper coin onto the ground.

It landed beside Mo Tianyu's knee."Go buy yourself another life."More laughter followed. The wealthy youths walked away without looking back. Mo Tianyu stared at the coin. After a long moment...He left it lying where it had fallen.

His empty stomach screamed at him. But something inside him refused. Perhaps it was pride. Perhaps it was simply exhaustion. Either way...He would rather remain hungry than accept charity from the man who had crushed his hand. Slowly, he stood. His patched grey robes hung loosely over his thin frame. Dirt covered nearly every inch of fabric, while years of hardship had stolen the youthful brightness from his face. Though only nineteen years old, his eyes carried the weariness of someone who had lived far longer.

No one noticed him leave the crowded plaza. No one cared. The further Mo Tianyu wandered from the festival, the quieter the city became. He eventually stopped beside an old stone bridge overlooking a narrow river.

The laughter behind him faded into the distance. Only then did he allow himself to breathe. He knelt beside the water and washed the blood from his hand. The cold current stung his wounds. His reflection stared back. Messy black hair.Sunken cheeks.

Eyes devoid of hope. He looked nothing like the radiant immortals whose statues filled the city. He looked...Forgotten.A gentle breeze stirred across the river. For reasons he couldn't explain, a strange ache blossomed deep inside his chest. Not physical pain, something older.Something buried.

He placed a hand over his heart. For a fleeting instant...A faint warmth pulsed beneath his skin. Then it vanished. Mo Tianyu frowned....Strange."The sensation disappeared before he could think further. He dismissed it as another trick of starvation. Elsewhere...

High above Azure Cloud City...Beyond the drifting clouds...Beyond the sight of every mortal...An enormous palace floated upon seas of golden mist. Ancient towers pierced the heavens. Dragons coiled around celestial pillars. Countless stars revolved slowly around a magnificent hall whose roof seemed woven from living constellations.

An elderly man dressed in white suddenly paused while tending an endless sea of glowing lotus flowers. His cloudy eyes narrowed. A ripple.Just one.Barely noticeable.Yet enough to freeze his breath.  He slowly lifted his head. His gaze pierced countless layers of reality. Toward the insignificant mortal city far below."...Impossible."

He extended two fingers. Golden symbols circled his hand. He calculated.Again.And again. Each calculation produced the same impossible result. His calm expression finally shattered."The Wheel of Samsara...It moved."For millions of years...It had remained silent. Today...It turned once. The old man's voice became little more than a whisper."...Who awakened?"

Back within Azure Cloud City...Evening approached. The Spirit Festival grew brighter as countless lanterns illuminated every street. Music echoed joyfully through the night. Families gathered around warm meals. Children laughed. Lovers walked beneath glowing lights.

Mo Tianyu wandered alone. The smell of roasted meat drifted from nearby stalls. His stomach twisted painfully. He closed his eyes.No.He could not stay. Every familiar street held another memory.  Another humiliation.

Another reminder that he did not belong. There was nothing left for him here. Not friendship. Not family. Not hope. Only suffering. He adjusted the worn cloth bag hanging over his shoulder.  Inside rested everything he owned. An old blanket.A wooden bowl.A waterskin. Nothing more.

He walked toward the city's western gate. The elderly gatekeeper glanced at him briefly."Leaving?"Mo Tianyu nodded.I don't think this city needs me anymore."

The old man sighed softly. Unlike everyone else, he did not mock him."Where will you go?"I don't know."The gatekeeper hesitated before handing him a small piece of dried bread."It's stale."But it's still food." Mo Tianyu stared silently. Then accepted it with both hands."...Thank you."The old man smiled faintly."Not everyone born unfortunate deserves to remain that way."Those words lingered in Mo Tianyu's mind long after he passed through the gate. Night settled over the land. Behind him...

Azure Cloud City shimmered beneath thousands of lanterns. Ahead...Only endless darkness. He never looked back. Far above the mortal world...The stars suddenly dimmed. Golden clouds parted. Hidden within endless light...A pair of enormous golden eyes slowly opened. They were ancient.Emotionless.They had watched civilisations rise and fall.

Empires crumble into dust. Immortals ascend and perish. Now...They looked upon one lone beggar walking beneath the moonlight. Silence stretched across Heaven. Then an ancient voice echoed through the void, soft, calm.

"The final reincarnation...""...has begun."The golden eyes closed once more. Across countless unseen realms, ancient seals trembled. Far beyond mortal comprehension...Something that had slept for ages had begun to awaken.
