Chapter 1
The Orange Rose Sect was located in Linjiang City, one of the cities under the rule of the Han Empire.
Boom!
A deafening explosion echoed throughout the sect's courtyard as two overwhelming forces collided head-on.
The impact was so powerful that many of the sect's buildings crumbled into ruins, proving just how terrifying the clash truly was.
"Lin Jiang!"
A desperate voice called out to an eleven-year-old boy.
The boy was thrown dozens of meters away by the shockwave. Having no idea what was happening, he had approached the battlefield out of curiosity. Unfortunately, he was caught directly in the aftermath of the battle between the two supreme experts.
His body was in a horrifying state. Countless wounds covered him from head to toe, while blood soaked his clothes and stained the ground beneath him.
"Lin Jiang!"
One of the sect's instructors immediately activated his movement technique and rushed toward the boy, who lay motionless not far from the battlefield where the two top experts continued their fierce duel.
"Take him away from here! I'll finish this battle!" one of the combatants shouted.
"Yes, Sect Master!"
The instructor immediately carried the severely injured Lin Jiang away. The eleven-year-old's breathing had already become faint and irregular.
His name was Instructor Ju Bin, Lin Jiang's personal teacher. That was why he had been close to the boy when the battle erupted within the Orange Rose Sect.
Lin Jiang was a child blessed with extraordinary talent—talent so exceptional that he was destined to become a great martial artist in the future.
Because of that, the Orange Rose Sect took immense pride in having him as a disciple. His rare gift was admired by many, yet it also stirred jealousy among most of the sect's disciples.
Now, however, the boy's condition was critical. The devastating shockwave from the collision of internal energies had struck him directly.
"Master Jiang!" Ju Bin shouted as he carried Lin Jiang into the Jiang family's large residence in Linjiang City.
The boy's name, Lin Jiang, came from the city's name and his family's surname, Jiang.
"What happened to my son?" Master Jiang cried anxiously.
"Young Master Jiang was caught in the explosion caused by the Sect Master's battle against a powerful enemy!" Ju Bin answered.
"Impossible!"
Master Jiang's face turned pale with worry. His greatest fear was that his son would lose the extraordinary talent that had made him so proud.
"Quick! Summon the best physician in the city!" he ordered his servants.
"At once, Master Jiang!"
---
Lin Jiang lay weakly on a large bed inside his room. His condition was extremely critical, and his chances of survival were slim.
Not long afterward, a middle-aged man dressed in a physician's robe arrived. He was Physician Su, the finest healer in Linjiang City.
"Physician Su, please save my son!" Master Jiang pleaded desperately.
"Master Jiang, allow me to examine Young Master Jiang first. Only then will I know what can be done," Physician Su replied calmly.
"Please."
Physician Su immediately began examining Lin Jiang, starting with his wrist.
The moment he sensed the condition inside the boy's body, his expression changed drastically.
"What's wrong, Physician Su?" Master Jiang asked nervously.
"Young Master Jiang's injuries are extremely severe, Master Jiang. I can save his life... but there is one thing I cannot restore."
"What do you mean?"
Master Jiang stared at him in disbelief. Lin Jiang was the pride of the Jiang family.
"Young Master Jiang's meridians have been severely damaged. Worse still... his dantian has been destroyed."
Thud!
Master Jiang collapsed onto the floor.
Those words struck him like a bolt of lightning from a clear sky.
"No... that's impossible!"
"For now, I will do everything I can to preserve Young Master's life. That is all I am capable of," Physician Su said.
Master Jiang barely heard another word. His mind was completely shattered by the diagnosis from the city's greatest physician.
Using medicinal herbs, acupuncture, and various medical instruments, Physician Su immediately began treating the unconscious Lin Jiang.
After some time, the treatment was complete, and Physician Su quietly left the room.
"Physician Su!"
"Yes, Master Jiang?"
"I beg you... please restore my son to the way he was before."
"I'm afraid I cannot. Young Master Jiang's condition is simply too severe."
"But you're the best physician in this city! I know you can do it. I'll pay whatever price you ask!"
"Master Jiang, this has nothing to do with money. I deeply respect the Jiang family, and it is my honor to serve you. However, my medical skills are not sufficient to heal Young Master Jiang."
"What should I do?"
"The only person capable of curing him is a Divine Physician... assuming one can even be found."
Master Jiang fell silent.
He lowered his head in despair, feeling as though the heavens had collapsed upon him.
For years, he had proudly boasted about his son throughout Linjiang City. Lin Jiang had become the hope of the declining Jiang family, restoring the family's reputation and honor.
But now, everything had vanished in an instant because of one disastrous accident.
"What am I supposed to do...?"
The Jiang family had been slowly declining for years, and only Lin Jiang's exceptional talent had earned them recognition once again.
Now, however, Lin Jiang was no longer the genius he once was.
Soon, the Jiang family would likely become the laughingstock of Linjiang City.
"Damn it all!" Master Jiang roared in frustration.
"Master Jiang! Young Master Jiang has regained consciousness!" one of the servants hurriedly reported.
"Leave him for now. I'll go in later."
The boundless affection Master Jiang had once shown his son disappeared the moment he learned that Lin Jiang's dantian had been destroyed.
"If possible... it would be better if Lin Jiang died. If he lives, all that awaits me is humiliation."

Two figures shot forward at incredible speed. For some reason, I feel that something is different about this sect!”“I feel it too, Elder Gui. What kind of power is this?” Elder Ho said. The two elders, who had initially planned to enter the Golden Dragon Sect secretly, stopped in their tracks. They remained still for a moment, sensing the strange power surrounding the sect.“Do you think it has something to do with Elder So Un’s disciple?”“I don’t know, but I have never sensed such dense black power before. It feels as if it doesn’t belong to a human,” Elder Gui said.“What do you think?” Elder Ho asked.“Perhaps this problem isn’t simply about that boy. “Elder Sha Tan, are you still planning to remain calm after all this?” a deep voice said.“Elder Fui Wan, what do you want?”“Nothing. I simply wanted to see what you plan to do after realizing that there are two people who could become obstacles to us,” Elder Fui Wan said.Without being invited, the leader of the Black Tower Sect sat down opposite Elder Sha Tan. He gave the leader of the Night Demon Sect a disdainful look.“Who said I’m just sitting around doing nothing? I already tried to eliminate that participant from the White Skull Sect, but this fool failed to complete his task!” Elder Sha Tan shouted while pointing at the sect member beside him.“I’m sure you also saw the abilities of the young man who fought earlier, didn’t you?”“Yes, and I honestly don’t know who he is. Where did he come from, and just how strong is that brat?” Elder Sha Tan replied.“After seeing him, what conclusion did you come to?”“I concluded that reaching the championship will be difficult. I never e
