Robot Girlfriend

Night fell. 

Ansley went to the supermarket and came back from the vegetable market. stuffing the refrigerator full. 

The bags of earth eggs bought from the old farmer were also placed one by one in the specialized slot on the side of the refrigerator door. 

This home is full of ascetic style. cold and simple. just like Ansley. 

Ansley didn't like having outsiders at home. so he didn't hire a nanny. He was the only one in the big villa. 

After simply making two dishes and one soup, Ansley finished his dinner quietly and tidied up the dishes. He returned to the second floor study, turned on his computer, and started working.

Ansley did not notice that shortly after he left. the temperature in the refrigerator began to slowly change. 

At midnight, Ansley finally turned off her computer and went back to her bedroom to wash up before going to bed.

The next morning, Ansley planned to make herself some breakfast.

Opening the refrigerator. Ansley furrowed her eyebrows inexplicably. 

Taking a look inside the refrigerator. it's not his illusion. The temperature inside the refrigerator is indeed warm. not cold. 

Ansley glanced at the light on in the refrigerator and confirmed that it was always powered on. Then, taking a look at the cooling temperature setting, it was between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius.

He didn't see what the problem was for a moment. so he put it down for now. 

I took a handful of vegetables. then brought out a tomato and two eggs. and planned to make tomato egg noodles with vegetables for breakfast. 

Fortunately. the vegetables in the refrigerator were only bought last night. and although the night passed. the vegetables were still fresh. 

Ansley skillfully prepared breakfast and served it to the dining table alone.    silently eating.

It only took a few minutes to finish breakfast.    After washing the dishes and tidying up the stove.    Ansley opened the refrigerator again and still didn't feel any coolness.

Ansley picked up her phone and dialed the assistant's phone:  "Send someone over to fix the refrigerator for me."

Okay. Mr. Ansley. 

Assistant Davin immediately called the after-sales service for the refrigerator. 

Ansley didn't notice As he closed the refrigerator door, an egg in the card slot moved uneasily.

Ansley went upstairs to tidy up after calling. went downstairs with Briefcase. and drove directly to the company. 

An hour later. the person repairing the refrigerator arrived at the Longwan community. and assistant Davin brought the person to Ansley's villa. 

After careful inspection. no abnormalities were found in the refrigerator. 

Davin returned to the company and reported to Ansley: Mr. Ansley. the masters have checked and there are no issues with your refrigerator at home. 

Ansley was currently thinking of something else in her mind. and she didn't take Davin's words to heart for a moment. She just waved her hand to show that Davin knew. 

Ansley is not a boss who squeezes employees, so it's time to finish work. He tidies up the unfinished work and goes home to do it again.

Returning to the room. I changed into a casual home outfit and went into the kitchen. 

Ansley opened the refrigerator and frowned slightly again. 

Suddenly. I remembered what Davin reported during the day. saying that the technician who came to repair the refrigerator had not detected any problems with the refrigerator. 

That means the refrigerator is functioning normally and there are no issues with cooling. 

But now .He poked his hand into the refrigerator again, without a hint of coolness.

The beef I bought yesterday emitted a faint odor through the cling film. 

Ansley cleaned out all the broken meat and vegetables from the refrigerator and threw them into the trash bin. leaving some fruit drinks and eggs still in the refrigerator. 

At this point. Ansley no longer had the intention to continue cooking. She left the kitchen and called to order some takeout. 

After finishing the dinner hastily. Ansley entered the study again and started working. 

Just like yesterday. work until 12 o'clock. turn off the computer. go back to the room. wash up. and go to bed. 

The next day, he still woke up early, ran for exercise in the morning, and returned home. When he walked into the kitchen, he remembered that the vegetables in the refrigerator had been thrown away by him yesterday.

Ansley stopped making breakfast. made a cup of coffee. and then went back to her room to clean up before leaving for work again. 

Before going out. Ansley called her assistant again to change the refrigerator at home. 

Okay. Mr. Ansley. 

Davin replied. but he was a bit confused. He had already checked yesterday and the refrigerator was good. Why did Mr. Ansley suddenly need to replace it?

Although he thought so in his heart. Davin immediately followed the boss's instructions and went to the mall to buy a refrigerator. He also calculated time to personally go to the villa and wait for delivery to his doorstep. 

The new refrigerator is being carried into the house, and the old refrigerator is about to be moved out of the room.

Before moving out.   it is necessary to clean out the contents of the refrigerator.

Davin had originally thought that since the boss had arranged for the disposal of this refrigerator.   he was wondering if he could take it back and give it to some relative or friend for use.

He always believed that the refrigerator could be used normally because the other person's master only checked it yesterday and thought it was because the boss disliked the old refrigerator.

But when Davin opened the refrigerator. he realized that there was a problem with its cooling. 

Come on. if you want to use the refrigerator. you'll have to ask the master to come and repair it. 

I really couldn't bear to ask him to just throw it away. The boss just bought this old refrigerator and it's still 80% new. The boss's refrigerator is a high-end item. so it's a pity to throw it away. 

So Davin ended up shipping the old refrigerator back to his own house. intending to wait until it was repaired before giving it away. 

The undamaged eggs and some relatively fresh fruits in the refrigerator have been sorted out and put into the new refrigerator. 

Davin knew that his boss usually cooks at home.  so he went to the supermarket and bought some fresh vegetables and fruits that the boss likes to eat.  He refilled the refrigerator and then left.

After hurriedly transporting the old refrigerator back to his home.  Davin returned to the company.

There was a dinner party tonight. and Ansley didn't go home to cook. Instead. she ate outside before returning. 

When I returned to the villa. it was already ten o'clock in the evening. I worked in the study for an hour. and Ansley returned to his room to rest. 

That night. Ansley did not enter the kitchen. so she did not check the condition of the new refrigerator. 

The next morning. it is customary to wake up early and run in the morning. After running back in the morning. go into the kitchen to cook breakfast. 

However . Ansley reached out to open the refrigerator and gave it a slap. 

His ears moved. not an illusion. He did hear the chirping of a chick: Haw-haw-haw... 

They are in a villa community. and the families who can live here are either wealthy or expensive. When it comes to raising chickens. unless there is a special hobby. No one will raise chickens in the villa.

But Ansley could clearly hear the chirping of the chicks. not just one or two. but three or five. or even more. chirping and lively. 

The sound was clearly nearby. not far away. as if in my ear. 

Ansley's ears twitched again. and then her gaze fell on the refrigerator in front of her. 

That sound seems to be coming from inside. 

If this is true. Ansley couldn't help but think of some scenes from the animal kingdom in certain animated films. 

Is his refrigerator the gateway to another world?

Ansley couldn't help but develop a faint curiosity. 

He slowly opened the refrigerator

Suddenly, the vegetable leaves flew up, the fruit rolled down, some bottles and jars also fell out, and a few chicks fluttered out with their wings.
