The ultimate chaos God

High above the clouds, the sun and moon hung side by side, flooding the land below in their warm glow and sharp coldness. A man took deep breaths as he spread his arms toward the sky, and the lights gathered in his palms. And the world dimmed.

The wind picked up the man's elegant white hair, his face battered by the freezing winds while he smiled.

Suddenly the ground started to rumble!

With a loud sound as the trigger, the four mountains in the vicinity erupted while Heavenly Gorge itself was wracked by terrible tremors.

The man opened his eyes to see what was causing the tremor, and with a space-rending sound, three flashes of light appeared. As the light scattered, there stood three figures radiating ruthless power while many Deciple were at their back

His eyebrows shook as the man spoke in an eerie voice, "How are the three of you here? Didn't I leave the sect long ago?"

But what surprised the man most was his sworn brother, who was also standing among the three figures. "Mo Yun, do you also come with them?" his voice cracked.

Mo Yun didn't even offer any statements, his face fully focused on the man.

"Humph, Lin Tian, isn't it obvious why we're here?" An old man among the three figures stroked his white beard as he gave a look of disdain.

As the words came out of the old man, Lin Tian's heart skipped. "Elder Tang Xiu, I have no idea what you are talking about."

"Humph, stop faking it and take out the Chaos Heart within you," Mo Yun stepped arrogantly as he threw his chin forward.

Lin Tian's face turned pale, for he knew that the only person who knew he had the Chaos Heart with him was only two people and Mo Yun is one of them. Seeing him bring the Heavenly Accord Sect elders to retrieve the Chaos Heart from him cracked his soul to the core.

He suddenly recalled something, and his face grew darker by the second.

"Xinyi, come out," shouted Lin Tian.

A cheery voice rang through the empty forest on the mountain. Immediately, a pretty lady in white robes walked from behind the three, smiling all the while as she made a curt bow to Lin Tian. "Ha-ha-ha, my love, did you ask for me?"

Lin Tian glared with hatred at the hypocrite and said, "Is this your doing?"

"Yes!" nodded Xinyi with a smile.

"Did you also give my location to Mo Yun?"

"Yes!"

"Why? I never slighted you in the least." Lin Tian clenched his fist as murderous intent flared out from his eyes.

Despite having the Chaos Heart with him, he normally did not kill without reason. If he did, he was just acting out of his nature. Else, those righteous cultivators would've come to end him much sooner. Xinyi, for that matter, was the woman he trusted and loved with all his heart. Who could have thought that both her and his sworn brother could have conspired against him?

Despite putting on a front with his calm face, before Lin Tian's increasing killing intent, Xinyi's feet betrayed her as she took two steps back in fear, moving closer to the three beings behind him.

"Lin Tian, I understand your kindness and love for me is as heavy as a mountain, but that doesn't give you the right to possess the Chaos Heart after knowing what it can later turn you into in the future. And even apart from that, you seem to focus on cultivating the Chaos Heart rather than focusing on me, and you cast me away when I need you most."

Lin Tian clenched his fist after hearing everything that Xinyi was saying.

Xinyi doesn't realise that not only does Lin Tian want to become stronger for her sake but having low cultivation, the only way to protect her from the ruthless power of the Chaos Heart, which could drain a low cultivator's life essence was by keeping her away.

Yet all his plans were ruined in just a short month.

"Ha-ha-ha, well said, Xinyi, you're a true lover indeed!"

Lin Tian roarings laughter reached the heavens, and so did his rage. "Since it is so, I will give you a taste of the Chaos Heart."

"Lin Tian, this is not your place for such unbridled words in the presence of us three," the third white-bearded old man stepped before Xinyi.

"Humph, everyone in the Heavenly Accord Sect would have known I had the Chaos Heart with me. I could care less even if all of you elders come at me together!"

Within the blink of an eye, Lin Tian launched a powerful palm toward Xinyi, and a crimson claw flashed in the sky, descending toward her.
