Chapter 1
1... Alexander Todd...
In a class full of mostly unserious students, a beautiful and young female teacher stood in front of them to explain the topic of the day and ask questions.
Alexander Todd, known as Alec, was present in the class, sitting quietly, like he has no life. He took several deep breaths to calm his nerves, but it wasn't working. The huge boys sitting at the back of the class made him feel apprehensive, and anytime he summons little courage to look back at them, his timid eyes would always lock with their fierce ones. He knew right away that he was a dead meat, all for saying 'hi' to the only girl that was nice enough to wave her hand and say 'hello' when he was getting his books from his locker before class started. Alec was a guy that always had something heavy in his eyes. He has a father who got sick frequently and still tried to work to provide for their daily needs, and he has no mother. His mother died from a dementia disease. Alec doesn't have much of a choice than to accept every bad events that comes his way, he was aware of the type of world he lived in, and anytime he tried to stand up for himself and other people like him, it ended in disaster. In the place he lives, the city of Koach, there are people with special powers; The power of money, game, intellect and strength. Unfortunately for Alec, he doesn't fall into any power category. Everyone knew only people with those powers are allowed to rule the city. They form alliances with other powerful people from other cities to exploit the value of common people like Alec. "Alec, can you tell me what you understand by cellular respiration?" The teacher asked, staring at him. She got no response from him. His eyes were expressionless as he stared into space. "Alec?" She called questioningly. "Alec?" The teacher called again, but still no response. "Alexander Todd!" The teacher barked and that brought him back to reality, causing a slight jump from him. "Huh?" He looked confused, but his confusion was quickly turned to the joke of the class. They laughed so loud like it was the comedy of the year. "Silence!" The teacher ordered the class, then she turned to Alec "I asked you a question earlier" "You did?" He asked nervously. "Yeah, but you spaced out" The teacher replied harshly. Alec swallowed. He knew disgrace was coming his way. After the teacher repeated her question, Alec could only stare at her blankly. He didn't know the answer to the question because he wasn't listening in class. "Fucking dummy" A boy in class remarked with a smirk and his friends burst out laughing. "You forgot to add that he's a dullard too" Another one put in, laughing in between his words. "It's no wonder he can't bag a girlfriend" Another round of laughter boomed in the class, and the taunts continued until the teacher called the class to order. With shame and anger, Alec sat quietly in his seat, his head down. **** Alec opened his locker to get his books for maths class. When he turned around, he met two huge guys with a threatening stance right in front of him, and he recognized them right away. "For fucks sake" He whispered under his breath. "Sam, Kevin, please just..." He shut his eyes tight for a second and opened them "Leave me alone. Why do you target me everyday for your bullying? Don't you guys have work to do?" What Alec did not understand was that they always found fun in bullying him every day because he was weak, they would be able to show their powers by tormenting him. Kevin took a step closer to him till there was no space between them and punched him in the stomach. Alec grunted, his books falling from his hand. Passers-by would never know the pain Kevin was causing to the innocent Alec right here with the discreet way he had to punch him. "You're an idiot. Didn't you know you were supposed to stay silent?" Kevin whispered with an angry tone. "You weren't supposed to say shit back to me" "Honestly, Kevin" Alec shook his head weakly "You're insane" And that earned Alec another hard punch from Kevin. "What the hell is happening here?" A deep voice boomed in the hallway. At first, one would think the voice belonged to a teacher, but as the two bullies saw the owner of the voice, they let out an exasperated sigh and threw Alec a meaningful, angry glare not to say a word to anyone about what just happened. They scowled at Alec's saviour before walking away with the arrogance they possess. "Are you okay?" The guy asked with concern, standing confidently in front of Alec. "Ye...yeah" Alec lied, but his new friend saw right through his lie. He smiled "Maybe you should take a little rest before going for class. It helps" He advised, then left without even introducing himself.Expand

Sapphire Store. Chad whistled with a smirk as he burst in like he owned it, even though he very much did not. “Yo, Theo!” he yelled, clapping his hands once. "Theo, my man!"Theo was there wearing a frown. He was dressed in the dull uniform of the expensive store, which was not a new thing that it was owned by Alec. Chad grinned. “Where’s my discount, cousin dearest?” The tall barely looked up. “We don’t do discounts for family. Or clowns.”“Oof, rude,” Chad said. "After all my nice hypes," he muttered, tossing his sunglasses on the counter. “You always get like this when you're broke?”“I’m not broke,” Theo muttered, his jaw clenching. “Oh right. You’re... employed.” Chad smirked and poked a price tag. “Man, look at you. From manager to shelf stocker. I’m so proud.”Theo did not say anything."So, so proud of you, man." Chad added with his smirk. Theo grabbed the scanner aggressively. “You here to buy or run your mouth?”“Both,” Chad grinned, then leaned closer. “Listen. Charit

Xander System And The Blitz 80...D' Young...
Alec stared at the large screen at the HEP showing the event for tonight, and later, he released a short sigh."'D' Young Charity Gala," he pronounced slowly."Yep," Jeremy grinned. "You know that's gonna be like the hottest event of the year. And it's gonna have hot, bad girls, you know?" He wriggled his brows. Alec rolled his eyes, but there was a subtle smile at the corner of his mouth. "I'm serious though," Jeremy went on. "I feel like It's gonna be one of the hottest events of the year. Well... if you’re between sixteen and twenty-three, ridiculously rich, and kinda addicted to competition, you can attend and enjoy it."Alec squinted at the elegant banner across the screen. "So charity, huh?” he muttered with a meaningful snort. "I bet fifteen out of twenty kids attending the event don’t even know what they’re gonna be donating to.""Donating?" Jeremy scoffed a laugh. "Man, they are not donating," he said, tossing a protein bar toward Alec. “They’re buying status. And tonight,

Xander System And The Blitz 79...You know...
"Dad?" Alec called casually. "Hmm?" His dad hummed without looking up from his phone, his glasses resting gently on his nose and his mouth scrunched. Alan's mouth scrunched up more, his eyes showing he was annoyed with whatever he was seeing on his phone. "Know what, dad?""Hold on a sec...""Dad, are you having issues with your phone's operation?""No," Alan quickly said. Alec narrowed his eyes. "I can handle the phone," Alan said with a tight smile then added in a mutter. "Maybe your boss could've bought a less complicated phone for me.""My boss thought you'd like that model, that's why he bought it for you." Alec said with a small smirk, his brain flashing back to how he had scrolled through phones to buy online and chose the one his dad was using. So, yes, it wasn't Alec's bo

Alec still felt cold internally. He rubbed his arms, like that would help to warm him up quick. "Alec, say something about your subconscious." Jeremy said, watching him through narrowed eyes. Alec leaned back in his chair and sighed. "How did we even get to this for fuck's sake." He mumbled, feeling upset.Jeremy creased brows. "What was that?""Nothing." Alec mumbled, pushing his hair back. Jeremy waited a moment before speaking again. "I'm just letting you know now..." He looked at Alec straight in the eye. "I'm not dropping this topic until you say something.""You don't have to be so hard on me, Jeremy," Alec complained with a small frown. "I thought I was your best friend.""Stop it," Jeremy deadpanned. "It's not working.""What?" Alec gave him a disbelieving look."Yeah, that guilt trip is not working.""It should....""I'm not Alan," Jeremy said flatly, staring at his friend with a knowing look. "I'm not Alan, Alec.
